he's not that young, injury prone, not an international and only had 2-3 top flight seasons

10 mill is a fair offer

decent signing but not a world beater, and tbh you can't really justify spending more than 10 mill on a squad player

I think 10 mill for Phil is a bit of a piss take. He can play footall and would be suited to playing alongside Vermaalen. I'm suprised Arsenal have not offered 8-9 million for Samba as I reckon Venkys would rip their hands off for it.

Is he any good and are the rumors strong? I haven't seen any believable rumors about him at all And Henry has stated he don't wanna spend money on any older players.

a player is only worth what someone is willing to pay, if arsenal only want to offer 10 the he's only worth 10 unless someone else comes in with a better offer


if everton aren't happy with the fee then they reject it, and arsenal either offer more or pull out


it's how transfers have always worked.


i think the difference with cesc is barca have shown they are desperate to sign him but are offering a fee as if they're indifferent as to wheter they sign him or not

I don't rate him and Blackburn are already in talks with the guy. Wouldn't suprise me if Steve Kean leaked that Liverpool are interested so he can look good for the Blackburn fans if it comes off
