Given just signed for Villa. Decent keeper, as long as his shoulder has healed. Having virtually not played for a year there are big question marks against his fitness. Not sure who is in charge of contracts at the Villa but a five year contract for a 35 year old on big money seems odd.

He could be the difference between relegation and survival so it's hard to say. I hope he stays because he's entertaining and it'll be interesting to see if he flops in the Prem or not.

Is that this year or last years tour? Regardless, he does tend to bloat out of season, not a good thing for any sportsman to do. United have 3-4 weeks to get him in shape so it should be ok but really he should be fined for turning up in what must have been evem worse condition given that he has been back in training for over two weeks and still looks a good stone over.
