If it was any other manager he would have been fined about £10m by now.

Aye, cos Big Sam and Arry' got fined loads didnt they for adopting the same stance.

Managers have no obligation to give pre or post match interviews but dont let facts get in the way of your bitterness

I actually think that the tv/radio rights holders have a clause in it where managers are meant to give interviews... and if they do not the manager/club will be fined by the FA. However as there never has been an official complaint from the rights holders there have been no test cases on this.

thats an article that mentions it

Yeah, fairly dull draw for English teams except perhaps City although they should still be comfortable. Utd's group is piss easy, our group should be straight forward, Arsenal could struggle depending on signings but should go through.

Some good potential matches (that'll inevitably suck like all group games) are Milan - Barcelona, Arsenal - Dortmund, City - Bayern Munich.

Group F: ARSENAL, Marseille, Olympiakos, Borussia Dortmund
Group B: Inter Milan, CSKA Moscow, Lille, Trabzonspor
Group E: CHELSEA, Valencia, Bayer Leverkusen, Genk
Group H: Barcelona, AC Milan, BATE Borisov, Viktoria Plzen
Group D: Real Madrid, Lyon, Ajax, Dinamo Zagreb
Group C: MAN UTD, Benfica, Basle, Otelul Galati
Group G: FC Porto, Shakhtar Donetsk, Zenit St Petersburg, Apoel FC
Group A: Bayern Munich, Villarreal, MAN CITY, Napoli

Hmm.. Mestalla is closer to me than the beach, which is a 15 minute walk from here(the water is fucking awesome!)

Think I'll swing by tomorrow and see if I can get a ticket for the Real Madrid game in november :D

Got a feeling 'Appy 'Arry will get the best out of him too, if VdV and Adebayor click then the Spuds could be a dangerous team this year.

Am I right in saying, that's no more Scottish teams in Europe this season?

haha, irish football > scotish football.
dont surprise me. scottish football is fucking dire to watch. Dont think i can bring myself to ever go to another game here

.....
30th bday next year. Money is a bitch but may try to convince the Mrs it is a good time for her to see Old Trafford, and her first pro football game live :D
Only downside to that though, my bday is on munich disaster day! That means the match before is chelsea at Stamford bridge.... the match after is against Liverpool... in other words, expensive and doubt i be able to get a ticket :(
