well i enjoyed that. unlucky to lose really, played some nice football, a little naive at times but against a good dutch side. now we need to stick with these players and build from this and not go back to the same wasters whove under achieved for years.

hope huntelaar/smalling are ok, smalling looked on another planet when they left.

Agree it was like being at the under 21 tournament, with sturridge in midfield, the team looked off balance.

My favourite player in the squad at the moment. He's not being played because of a perceived lack of pace and his age (bring kids through etc.), but I think his other qualities make up for that.

I'd ditch Carroll and play him up front with Suarez tbfh.
