Sunderland players picking the Ox up off the floor and telling him to keep his head up that's fucking disgusting from Arsenal senior players.
Martin O'Neill is an excellent manager, great to see him back.
If he took over spuds or Chel$ki and won the PL that would seal it for me. He is good at making a poor team better I would like to see what he can do with a top 4 club. SPL does not count for me.To think there are people that still don't rate him as a good manager trolololol. I don't know what more the guy has to do to justify the tag as a good manager!
to be fair everyone said this about redknapp for years, he's only good at shit teams, he's only good as a wheeler dealer ect. he didnt even get to join a decent team until they were bottom of the prem and looking like dog shitIf he took over spuds or Chel$ki and won the PL that would seal it for me. Yeah but if he wins the Premiership who will ever be able to say it again.to be fair everyone said this about redknapp for years, he's only good at shit teams, he's only good as a wheeler dealer ect. he didnt even get to join a decent team until they were bottom of the prem and looking like dog shit
Yeah and if he most likely fluffs that what will the excuse be then? the team need another year or 2 as they are in transition? ........ he's had forever..I agree.
gmloki said:Unfortunately I missed the further demise of Arsenal tonight. I hear that some of the fans were chanting for Jose Mourhino. The mind truly does boggle. 1) Why on earth would Jose leave Real Madrid, top of the table and on target for their first La Liga in a good few years for a very mediocre Arsenal. I really don't know where Arsenal fans get off on this they are a massive club ? 2) Has the Premier League robbed you of your memories ???? Do you not remember 'Football' under George Graham. Love him or Loathe him without Arsene Wenger would be a lot worse off than they are today. Be careful what you wish for Arsenal Fans, the grass isn't always greener
Not sure I understood your post gmloki.... arsenal are a big club... chelski were singing for Jose.... Jose is leaving Madrid in the summer... I don't think Arsenal fans have forgotten what Wengers done for them, that is what makes the current failure worse, it's such a massive fall from the highs he led them to.
Heh, nicely quoted Soze. He needs a David Dien back to tell him he's being a turd.
I don't think Wenger will go, he needs to re-asses his financial model for Arsenal though.... or stick to be a coach and winning things and let the money men deal with that.

Wenger has proven he can buy a winning team but for 8 or 9 years not he has been trying to bring though kids. Jack and Gibbs are two home grown success stories because of this tactic. But we will not win anything his way. So he needs to get his cheque book out and buy and do it soon. I do not know how many more season the majority of fans will be happy with the way things are currently. I do not ever want to reach a day where he gets chased out of town. If that day does come he should become the director of football and take control of the Reserves and Youth teams so we dont lose his scouting network.Yeah and if he most likely fluffs that what will the excuse be then? the team need another year or 2 as they are in transition? ........ he's had forever..
Good manager but Arsenal need change if they want to win things again really... but then again there are no real good managers available atm.
But this is another season where Arsenal win nothing, how many more seasons will be tolerated where Arsenal win nothing? I know they have made some real good young players.. but.. West Ham anyone? not sure how long your star players will stay around while you are winning nothing.Wenger has proven he can buy a winning team but for 8 or 9 years not he has been trying to bring though kids. As for your 2 years dig Arsenal fans are a lot like Liverpool fans, they need to realise history does not mean you deserve the title. There are 4 trophies to win and because we were the best team in the country in 2002 does not give us a right to them. We have been left behind by the spending power and practices of other teams. While i would like us to win the league the way things stand i do not see it happening, but the cups are another matter and our fans should be angry about results like today and the Carling Cup Final last year.
I think 10 years ago when Man U were the superpower and we were chasing them any players wanting to come to the UK would settle for our wages as if Man U did not want them we were the next best thing. Now with the money behind City, Chel$ki, Spuds and Liverpool we can be outbid by teams that offer the same as us. This is where Wenger needs to show how great his scouting network is again by finding us 5 or 6 players.
Sorry for the long ramble but seeing people on Facebook calling for Wengers head like he killed a puppy. There has to be a proper solution rather than a knee jerk reaction.

Van Persie will most likely be gone this summer if there isn't a sign of intent shown by the club, but hopefully he doesn't leave!
