It's wierd, Arteta was such a team player at Everton, even when they were in a slump (which let's face it, was half their season). Something about Arsenal turns players into individuals when the shit is hitting the fan.

Players like Song should be screaming at team mates and putting a friendly arm around the kids.

If he took over spuds or Chel$ki and won the PL that would seal it for me. He is good at making a poor team better I would like to see what he can do with a top 4 club. SPL does not count for me.

My problem with o'neil is that he had no plan b a lot of the time when he was with villa, and treated his best players like shit when it was him that was over working them. He couldn't deal with the limitation of his squad.

If Lerner would have invested more money to him I've have no doubt he would have broke into the top 4. Some clubs would love to have the final visits and trophies he's taking his former teams to.

Chel$ki fans were singing for Jose not Arsenal fans.

And I don't want Wenger out I am not sure we would get a better manager. I just want him to admit this is not working. He has moulded these kids and does not seem to be capable of cutting them off. He has tried to build a team but it has failed. The latest buys he has got are not working so he needs to get out there earlier next year before the Euros and buy us a squad that can challenge again.

I don't think Wenger will go, he needs to re-asses his financial model for Arsenal though.... or stick to be a coach and winning things and let the money men deal with that.

No he won't because while we replace our manager too much Arsenal haven't replaced the manager at all, the other point is that in recent years the Wenger project that suceeded in the early years just hasn't paid off in recent times. His style of not spending big certainly seems to suit the owners, in the past it has done reasonably well but I think another year of dissapointment might cause some more issues for Wenger.

Wenger has proven he can buy a winning team but for 8 or 9 years not he has been trying to bring though kids. Jack and Gibbs are two home grown success stories because of this tactic. But we will not win anything his way. So he needs to get his cheque book out and buy and do it soon. I do not know how many more season the majority of fans will be happy with the way things are currently. I do not ever want to reach a day where he gets chased out of town. If that day does come he should become the director of football and take control of the Reserves and Youth teams so we dont lose his scouting network.

As for your 2 years dig Arsenal fans are a lot like Liverpool fans, they need to realise history does not mean you deserve the title. There are 4 trophies to win and because we were the best team in the country in 2002 does not give us a right to them. We have been left behind by the spending power and practices of other teams. While i would like us to win the league the way things stand i do not see it happening, but the cups are another matter and our fans should be angry about results like today and the Carling Cup Final last year.

I think 10 years ago when Man U were the superpower and we were chasing them any players wanting to come to the UK would settle for our wages as if Man U did not want them we were the next best thing. Now with the money behind City, Chel$ki, Spuds and Liverpool we can be outbid by teams that offer the same as us. This is where Wenger needs to show how great his scouting network is again by finding us 5 or 6 players.

Sorry for the long ramble but seeing people on Facebook calling for Wengers head like he killed a puppy. There has to be a proper solution rather than a knee jerk reaction.

At least one more. You yourself have said clubs lack stability by changing managers all the time. If Wenger is sacked how long would a new manager get before the fans are up his arse about results. I still think Wenger is one of the best in England but he is to stubborn at the moment. The stadium is on a 25 year loan lets leave it that way and spend some money.
