I'm annoyed Blackburn won tbh .. not because I hate them .. (they are my favourite team, fan is a bit much as I partly hate them at the moment).

The problem is the idiot Venkys will see this as something to hold onto with Kean. I don't know 1 fan who wants him to stay on as manager. The idiots are too stupid to realise he's gonna get us relegated. Blackburn are on a slippy slope, regardless of Kean or not. We need new owners, and it's such a shame, it was a well run club before.
Didn't Kean just get offered a new contract?

Actually just seen it on the daily mail .. not sure whether to believe it or not..

 Venky's idea of rewarding failure with a new contract ... good job ..

Why the hell would you offer a man who can only muster 5 points in 9 games a new contract? Baffling.

Man City are looking very scary it must be said. I am not sure they have the experience needed to succeed in both the Champions League and in the Premier League though, certainly their European performances have been spotty thus far. Yes they've broken the league with the amount of money they have spent but it is still good to see another name up there, seeing the same teams at the top every season is beyond boring.

I don't think they'll cope well with being at the top, squad is certainly the best though. Dzeko is looking better with each game.

Still too much Potential friction in the squad if results go wrong.

Isn't that the same in any squad that has quality players? I think Mancini has done a decent job getting rid of the problems (e.g. Bellamy, soon to be Tevez) whilst bringing in players who are solid but will work for the team (e.g. Silva, Aguero etc).. that and Balotelli.. every team needs the comic character.

This is the FIFA house...not a Bazzarr....
http://espn.go.com/sports/soccer/news/_/id/7154917/fifa-completes-185-billion-world-cup-tv-deals

"FIFA said it also chose Swiss-based agency Infront Sports and Media in a tender process to handle sales across 26 Asian territories including China and India...........Infront has been led since 2006 by Philippe Blatter, now its president and chief executive, who is a nephew of FIFA President Sepp Blatter."

The more things change....

Got an uneasy feeling about our game today, hopefully Nando has his shooting boots on and Ramires can slot back in after his injury.

Here's the Carling Cup quarter-final draw:
Chelsea v Liverpool
Arsenal v Man City
Man Utd v Crystal Palace
Cardiff v Blackburn.

Another hard fixture for United in a cup competition

Good to see Cleverley slotting back into the team nicely. We missed him.

And my god, Gervinho should have buried that.. both sides missed great chances in first 10mins or so

edit:
man utd still giving too many chances to opposition. that be our downfall this year

edit 2:
Arsenal are worse then Utd with their defending mind you... lol. Fat frank :(

In other news.. player that Rooney kicked out to get the 3 match ban has signed a letter to FIFA stating that due to Rooneys behaviour after his kick of desperation by apologising instantly and taking full blame for the offense and accepting he was wrong it shows that he supports "Fair Play" and shouldnt have any ban, let alone a 3 match ban" ... lol

Yeh it is shaping up to be a good game, let's hope we finish this one with 11 players on the field :p
