Was an awful performance, but credit to crawley for giving it a go.

Obertan and Bebe have pretty much just wrote of their utd career there. If they cant do anything against crawley in 90minutes then they cant do it in the premier league.
Rooney was bad, but if you looked at him he seemed to be just trying not get injuried, any 50/50 and he would just not bother.
Only people that done any good was the defense, but you would hope they could handle "non-league" players

Obertan was shocking. That was the best I've seen Gibson play though. Well, unless those two long passes were actually just really bad long range shots, which is quite possible...

Actually I thought Gibson was poor, yes he did ok at times but far too often he misplaced passes with too little or too much power. The problem the lad has is that he always overthinks play which often ends in loss of possession, in constrast to Scholes who just lets the game flow through and around him, that is why United just tick with Scholes pulling the strings.

Wow, what a fucking shocking performance this has been for United. Rooney, Bebe, Obertan and Carrick all totally anonymous. I would kill for a warhorse in the middle like Essien.
essien has been pap this season

Bebe and Obertan were poor but then the whole team played wel within their capabilities. Rooney was shocking when he came on. Fergie showed them far to much respect and seemed content to just play the remainder of the game out.

Bebe and Obertan need time still, it was only last year that some of you were saying Nani had had enough chances already and not stepped up. Yet thi sseason only Berbatov has been involved in more goals than him. They are young men coming into a totally different country. Time is what they need!

Rooney needs another granny shag. He has not been the same since getting rumbled.

Need time? They can have a century and they'd still be shit. Bebe was shocking in pretty much every area of his game, and Obertan seems to be actually going backwards.

I found the whole game painful to watch, no so much because it was a shocking performance against Crawley Town ffs, but because it shows the despite the size of squad there's an awful lot of players in there that are never going to be "United standard".

Obertan has until the summer to come good or is gone, Bebe has another 18 months realistically I think Fergie will give him that time because of the cost but also the potential. The player we saw today was definately low on confidence though, I am worried he just isn't settling in to a new way of life because he doesn't look happy at all. Obertan on the other hand just looks convinced that he can't make the grade, stupid thing is that he has the tools to succeed but is a real confidence player and he just doesn't believe in himself.

As for Gibson, I will quite happily swap him for Stephen Ireland and give you a few million in cash as well. ;)

You know what annoyed me most? The three young lads on the bench didn't get a game and I am certain they would have all done better than the players they would have replaced. Morrison has skill to burn, Tunnicliffe is a lion in the middle of the park and braver than anyone we have in that postition imo, Pogba has real talent and I am pretty certain he will make it to the top of the game at some stage.

Hm, if Everton get past Reading we should have a decent tie against Man City, considering we've been good against them the past few seasons...

But at the same time, i don't think i want us to stay in the FA Cup, we have far much more concern at the moment in the Premier League, it could have a negative impact on us especially with injuries. It's just not ideal.

Quarter final draw

Stoke v West Ham or Burnley
Man City or Aston Villa v Everton or Reading
Birmingham v Bolton
Manchester United v Leyton Orient or Arsenal

Some good ties there.

Well that was our own fault Cesc, Samir or Jack should have been on to pull the strings. I like Thomas but he does not do the same job. And i have had enough of big Nick he has so much mouth bt he fails to deliver even in games like this. And the fact he runs around putting in no effort infuriates me.

The equalizing goal was a stunner if only it had been 10 minutes earlier i think we would have turned it around.

Some one do the math on the wages of the City players involved today and see how much they just lost by playing that game lol.

Well, let's put it this way; the max revenue they could have gained from that game was about 25 grand less than their daily wage bill.

Last year the wages for the season was 105% of their total turnover... so they always lose money no matter what. lol.
