So chelsea out to Everton... guess next up is Crawley winning at old trafford!

Respect to Fergi though.. he went to the non-league fixture in midweek to watch them play. Not many managers would have bothered considering the difference in league positions and yet he wanted to go see who they were to be playing.
With luck he put out a semi decent team still though

TBH the only time they seem to hit teams with a fine is if it is done in the league.... it a joke though. Did blackpool win their appeal? Because the rule is so outdated. You cant tell a club "pick your best 25 players" and they say "I know you picked your best 25, but you cant play those as you wish"

So Chelsea, are you ready to get eliminated from the last title you have in sight this season?

Have the starting 11 been announced yet?

Doubt it, normally only get them 45mins-1hr before kickoff. Think the teamsheet has to be in 1hr before to the officials, and then of course takes time for it to get released to media.
That said, cant remember if the timings are correct. Been awhile since I paid attention to it that early. lol. Normally check 15-30mins before kickoff ... but i expect a much weakened team.

Lets hope he plays Carrick though, and he gets a 6month injury!!

1622: TEAM NEWS SNAP
Manchester United make 10 changes for their FA Cup fifth-round match against Crawley, Anderson the only survivor from the team that beat Man City 2-1 last week. Wayne Rooney starts on a youthful-looking bench.

...
nothing like putting the strongest lineup out

Aye it is ... but!

That could mean the likes of Hernandez and Berbatov start upfront because neither started against City.
Wonder which keeper he pick, Tomas probably sulking as is as he got overlooked previously for the new guy. lol

EDIT
1632: Man Utd XI v Crawley: Lindegaard, Rafael, O'Shea, Brown, Fabio, Gibson, Carrick, Anderson, Bebe, Hernandez, Obertan.

Subs: Rooney, Smalling, Fletcher, Kuszczak, King, Pogba, Tunnicliffe.

I thought the fines relate to fielding a weak team in the league.

I actually think there is a clause in the cup rules as well, but they are not really inforced much... im sure though that an issue will be made of it by some people (ie Blackpool)

Cant really blame blackpool tho if they do raise an issue, no team should be fined imo but if your going to fine one then you should fine them all

Totally agree, the rule is a load of bollocks.

And feel sorry for Crawley. They been doing really well and that a sucker punch of a goal from nothing. Poor defending though, guy let Brown walk away from him into the middle of a bunch of other players

Interesting article on the Man Utd youngster Ravel Morrison from the Guardian

A tragic waste if he throws it all away, have seen him play a few times now and the lad is a real talent but he is part of a bad crowd and so far hasn't shown the signs of remorse that you would expect when caught out. Time will tell but I just hope Fergie can get through to him.

Hoping he plays today, it would be a great showcase for him.

Gibson > Carrick ... not that it says much. lol.

Crawley will love the fact that Rooney coming on for this second half. Hope we going 4-4-2 because I hate that we matched their formation.

And why is Gibson still at utd, surely he could be playing first team football on a regular basis somewhere else? He's what 23 now.

Wow, what a fucking shocking performance this has been for United. Rooney, Bebe, Obertan and Carrick all totally anonymous. I would kill for a warhorse in the middle like Essien.
