What mess? The "mess" is pure spin from the club. They wanted wages lowered so have signed a few players on higher wages than the ones who have left.

I think its a panic buy pure and simple. I like Bent but other than score goals he doesn't do a lot. Will need the rest of the team built around him so I expect a few more changes yet.

It would have been best to have spent to build on last season's record points haul, giving it to the absolute twat who has us two points above the bottom of the league is a complete waste.

If he keeps readapting his game he could possibly go a couple more seasons, but to be honest I think he be taking more of a backseat roll over that time. He just cant influence a game quite as much as used too and may be better used as an impact player from next season onwards
