There some decent talent in there with the likes of Jones, Welbeck, Sturridge, Cleverly etc etc. Just with overrated pish like Rodwell and crud like Mancienne and Rose in there alongside the most awful of tactics are letting the side down.

We are not talking about being better then other nations, the u-21 to me is a showcase of potential talents that could go on to be brilliant. Yarmolenko for Ukraine for example is one that could be a big name.

No-one is saying these players are going on to win a WC or be better then anyone else, but it terms of a future and a potential full international then obviously the likes of Jones, Smalling etc etc have the chance to get there whilst ones such as Mancienne have done themselves no favours other then making themselves seem pretty fucking terrible.

we just dont control the game at any age group internationally. They players just do not have the mindset nor the ability to do it. 3 passes then hoof!

Supposedly 3 strikers on the pitch yet there is only ever one of them in the box at a time or able to receive the ball. The other two are too busy carrying out midfield duties. Backwards coaching, with the ability of wellbeck and sturrridge they should be stuck next to each other causing the opposition problems with their link up and movement.

This guy usually gets them spot on (called O'hara coming way back, signing of Fletcher etc etc). Matt Mills from Reading and Bassong would go along way to solving our defensive problems.

Yeah, sorry - it was more of a criticism of Pearce's tactics - Jones has looked pretty imperious at the back all night.
