Carrick has obviously been doing his homework on Barcelona!

All in all - United the better team all season. We didn't really deserve anything from this season with the dismal run we had. Time to reshape the team, we can't put everything on the shoulders of the same players forever, especially the way it is looking right now.

Grats mancs was another totally professional performance and if you get the last point then the title is deserved.

Hernandez looks like he is almost in tears... he could never expect to come to Utd and be one the most key players in us winning the title.

So good to see Utd back to playing a pure 4-4-2 in big games.

so liverpool are the best team eh

No league title for over 20 years, just one Champions Leauge in over 25 years. I will happily put our record up against theirs, it is neck and neck but your lot isn't even close.

He gets under my skin with his bitterness, no credit ever given when your lot are well beaten. The best team won today, the best team won the league and it wasn't won by a single point nor will United players claim 'we were the best team in the land' either.

QQ?

No one likes a bad loser.

I've never been a bad loser in my life because quite frankly as I've pointed out many times, and was pointed out by Keitanz again later, this season has hardly been a great one and Man U has done better than the rest when hitting the fail train. I will put your stupidity down to being rather excited instead of it being a permanent feature of your personality.

No, no, put it down to me biting (maybe foolishly) at your constant bitter remarks about United. Aoln and Vlad can at least be objective about United most of the time but I rarely see it from you and I find that very sad as you obviously aren't stupid.

Anyway, onwards and upwards. So happy United put a proper shift in, haven't played to that level more than 5-6 times this season but when it matters we got the job done. More than anything I am glad we have the monkey off our back with regards to league titles and comparisions with Liverpool's domestic record, none of you can understand what that has been like to carry that since we started winning titles again in the early-mid 1990's. Overcoming the continental record of Liverpool is going to take some time, different era and all but 5 European Cups is immense and we have to keep consistent over another decade to even or eclipse that wonderful tally. Still, we can rightly claim to be the kings of English football now, more league titles and FA cup wins than anyone.

Gonna be some task to replace VDS for next season though.

Huge mate, no doubt.

Scholes after recent performances may well be done sadly. Giggs will do another year at least but we need to buy some quality this summer if we want to stay strong over the next 3-4 seasons.

City will spend, that is a forgone conclusion imo, Chelsea may well spend too. Who spends best will dictate where the league goes in the next couple of seasons really, it is going to come down to quality but also squad strength more than ever.
