The next big talents? We had this on another board and it's turned out to be a pretty interesting thread.

I nominate these 3.

Juan Iturbe - YouTube - Juan Iturbe - The New Messi - Dubbed a new messi getting rave reviews in South America, currently at Paraguay club Cerro Porteno but has recently secured a move to FC Porto, he seems a pacy forward with a bag of tricks, scored a brace on his start in the Copa Libertadores, seems to be the real deal, current battle from Argentina and Paraguay about which one he represents.

Mario Gotze - YouTube - Mario Götze - One of the main reasons that Dortmund has dominated the Bundesliga this season, alongside Kagawa he has been instrumental. A pacy attacking mid with a bag of tricks and a smart footballing brain, already made his debut for Germany. There midfield youth talent is insane. Ozil, Khedira, Holtby, Kroos etc etc.

Iker Muniain - YouTube - - Made his debut at the age of 16 and became the youngest player to ever represent Athletic Bilbao, where he also became the clubs youngest goalscorer a week later. Fast paced winger-come-forward, seems good with the ball as his feet Has gone on to make over 50 first team apperances since his debut, looks like a quality little player. Dubbed the next Torres however.. don't see where the comparision comes in however.

Meh, from what I've seen on Iturbe he has got something about him. Test will be how he does at Porto next season.

Aye, from what some say it is his attitude. It is a bit of a joke when you consider the number of goals and assists and general contribution outdo alot of others but is it a surprise? Nope.
If he cut down the play acting a bit then he probably would get nominated, Ronaldo got nominated because he was a class above the rest, Nani hasnt reached that level yet and so falls short of it being ignored

i've seen people arrested for swearing at the police, and they didnt even shout aggressively in their face like Rooney did to the camera

Swearing at police, and swearing towards a camera are totally different though.. one is directed at someone personally, and the other (Rooney) was just general swearing.

Totally agree with fergi. First thing I said to the wife was "What a fucking attention seeking noob this cop is.". He probably didnt even watch the match and like the Jonathon Ross madness, jumping onto the complaints train.

As made clear above, the copper said if he heard Rooney shout 'fucking' and not actually shout it at the copper himself. That is the thing, the law is very tenuous on this subject anyway because public order law is quagmire, shouting an offensive word in public would not constitute a breach of public order if there was no victim or directed target. Fergie has the bloke bang to rights as well, Wolverhamton town centre is a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah on Saturday nights as I have witnessed first hand. :D

The copper seeking publicity by making a claim that doesn't actually enforce in his normal working day? Pure hypocracy and it is great he has been called out on it, another fucking do-gooder who actually does fuck all.

Contact started outside the box, according the rules it is a freekick and not a penalty.

That said. If we are being fair here, even if it wasn't a penalty, Evra probably should have been sent off for it I think.
