I'm also of the belief that Guardiola is not a great manager at all, most of his signings have been pitiful, you could put Gary Megson in charge of the players at Barce and storm anything.
Obviously Guardiola is a good coach though, but yeah his transfer dealings are a laugh:

Give Inter Eto'o and enough money to buy Sneijder, Lucio, Motta and Milito, receive Ibrahimovich. Kick Ibrah after 1 year and lose to Inter's new team in the semi final

The ref runined the game for me bad red card and a couple of other bad decisions and Bendtner don't get me started on him.

i do feel sorry for Cesc's bad back pass lead to a goal but he can't take full blame for the result.

but on the bright side still the FA cup and the league to go for :)

Arsenal's were Barca little sister.

Can you posibly play with less intensity?

Thats what happens when you prepare a match sucking the rival's balls: "oh! Barca is the best team of the world" "oh! Barca is such a pleasure to watch" "Oh its gonna be a great match btwn 2 teams that love this kind of playstyle". At the end Arsenal is the one heading back home and its beloved rival the one fucking the queen of the ball.

Arsenal had it coming.

Hah, same to that Ukrainian bloke, buy for £22mil, then sell back to Shakhtar for £6mil, bet they were laughing.

Hleb, Keirrison to name others.

Scousers - well done you wankers, completely dominant. Carragher proved yet again though that he's only a thug. Should have been red, but it may not have changed much, our defence was too shaken by the first goal and never recovered.

Keitz troll: Fuck off you clueless twat.

Awful referring all week, soo many decisions made badly without thought.

Feel really sorry for Arsenal. Marc; wouldn't you prefer it if Barca won cleanly for once? It's shocking how much the ref has helped them in the champs league for the last 5 years. That ref should be held accountable and UEFA should explain this - it was never a second yellow.

I also hope Wenger is held accountable for his comments; everyone wants Fergie's blood for doing the same thing.

Although a red card for playing on may seem soft RVP deserved it. He clearly knew he was offside as he looked at the linesman as he raised his flag, yet carried on and had a shot. Churlish behaviour will be punished at all levels of the game and rightly so.

Not at all, strikers do this week in, week out. It's not dissent, play doesn't stop till the ref blows the whistle - and the player not hearing it is fair defence. Remember Barca v Copehagen, if n'doye had played on past the whistle (fake whistle) he would have scored. Kicking the ball away in anger after a decision goes against you is very different to what RVP did. Or would you prefer all footballers to just stop if they think they are in the wrong? Strikers are there to score goals, you can't expect them not to shoot. The ref could easily have had a word with him to warn him not to do it again, not send off a player in such an important game for nothing.

Was Santin, but it is all the same.. Their keeper whistled and Santin thought it was an offside

I cant stand Barcelona, their players, their manager or their fans. Completely silent throughout the first half until they scored.

Ref mistakes that would have changed the game:

1) Messi's penalty in the first half
2) Abidal not getting red carded for choke holding RVP
3) 2nd yellow card to RVP for 'shooting the ball away', when some Barca-player did the exact same thing in the first half on an Arsenal freekick

Indeed.

So?

Is that Arsenal's excuse?

Sour grapes Vasc? Arsenal had a game plan and it worked fine, the sending off made it difficult to defend the space. It's what Inter did, and no one batted an eye lid. Real got fucked in the arse, they didn't do anything, attack or defend, so it's completely different.

yeah i must admit ive lost a lot of respect for barca over the last year or so since i started watching their games, the n'doye incident, the choke hold, anyone else spot Iniesta holding back almunia towards the end as he tried to take a goal kick?

but they did dominate arsenal so fair enough the better team won

on Arsenals side only Nasri really looked like a threat so they had 3 guys on him constantly when he got the ball, Sagna looked awful, his touch was heavy and he misplaced passed all night.

cant really see any of the english teams going too far in this years competition unless chelsea suddenly hit a great run of form and avoid injuries

Not even remotely close to sour, bittersweet if anything :)

I wasnt expecting Arsenal to pass the way they prepared the match, and I only needed the 5 first minutes of game to confirm it.

Real got fucked in the arse cuz Yose made some big mistakes in the game plan (4-2-3-1 vs a dominating barca's midfield) and the players performed way way way under their real level, shame on them indeed.

'tis ok. We are used to this in La Liga: every team cept Real (for the obvious reasons) and Athletic de Bilbao, do the same as Arsenal did, suck Barca's cock before the match and then get owned with a smile in the face (so tender the post-game hugs and kisses btwn Arsenal and Barca players)

Barca are a bunch of ***** imho, Alves the head of the pack, hes goes down like a sack of shit and bawls his eyes out every time. Would love if his knees got fucked, then he'd have something to roll around about.

It's a shame because the collective brilliance of Xavi, Messi, Pedro etc etc aren't really admired as they should be due to overwhelming amount of crap that goes Barce way and the 'up there own arse' attitude that numerous players have created. I doubt they will ever go down as the 'greatest club side ever'.

You haven't watched the replay, have you? At no time does he look to the lino, his head is down constantly. He doesn't even look at the goal. There was a second between whistle and shot.

Even if he did see it, which I don't think he did, there was only one second between the whistle and the kick. Last time a player stopped through on goal against Barcelona it turned out the goalkeeper was just cheating so you can't blame RVP :p

That Arsenal didn't have a single shot on goal was the ref's fault also I assume...
