Awful refereeing in a number of prem games this weekend, Arsenal v Sunderland, Fulham v Blackburn, Liverpool v Man Utd - all with horrific decisions in all of them.

Really taking the shine off what is an excellent run in to the final stages of the season. Refs and linos are playing too big a part in deciding it.

i know people are gonna say it's only cos torres doesn't paly for us anymore but i honestly think saurez is a better player, maybe not a better goal scorer, only time will tell on that' but his passing and movment ect is epic


reminds me a bit of del piero with his range of passing and set pieces ect

Anyone who's seen him play lots in Holland or for Uruguay would have told you about how great he was. As a part-time Ajax fan I've been spunking over him for years. Different player to Torres, much more versatile, very intelligent. He is a natural goalscorer as well, hopefully he can start to do that over here.

Although it does conflict for me cos I fucking hate 'Pool.

Rafael's had a tap from Maxi and there was a reaction from the Brazilian which was very high and looked not only reckless but intentional. I wouldn't have been surprised if he had received a red card for that one."

What Nani did was much worse, the tackle really didn't look that bad to me, yeah some refs could have given a red but the ref should be applauded for not giving another red and having another of these games decided on penalties/red cards..

Losing nani could be a blow for man utd, he's provided most of there better attacking play from midfield recently.

Wrong wrong wrong.

Carragher tackle was not only late, but it was high and dangerous - dangerous tackles = red cards. Could easily be given and probably deserved it.

With that said, Rafael tackle was reckless as well and probably deserved a red card, but the ref couldnt send him off given that it was his poor decision 2minutes before that got all the players worked up

Suarez has been very good today, Man utd been awful. Not deserved anything from the game.

oh, and i can see us losing the league at this rate. If we lose Nani for any length of time we lack any falir in midfield and it will cost us

gotta say things may have been very different this season under kenny, people go on about false dawns ect but if we werent in the relagation zone after 7 games we'd comfatably be qualifiying for CL maybe even challenging for the league, team seems alot more together than under roy or benitez tbh
