Shock horror, someone that been playing the role at the professional leveldone better then a 19yr old newcomer! Wouldnt have expected that much from the lad personally, only half watched, but he looked like he be a useful deep sitting playmaker, rather than a more defensive sitting one.

Barry was a great player when he was at Villa, he's really gone to shit since his move. His international performances have really been lacking - although that may be more to Capello using him solely in a defensive role. Wiltshire is the future of our midfield, and he is far more creative than Barry.

I feel a bit sorry for Jack he is getting the Theo treatment (much to much and much to young ect). So much pressure lumped on him. But the lad is full of confidence he will continue to improve. He was playing out of position in what is his break though season. I think he will eventually have a great England run but it will not be as a DM. I think Jack will end up in the free role.

Yep, it is going to hinder his development, I always fear for young talent in London anyway but this media nonsense is getting silly now and it is going to ruin a very good prospect if we aren't careful. Since when did the media give a fuck about England or football though? It is all about the ratings and selling their grubby little rags every day.
