Dermert Gallacher has said it was offside and he can't understand why it was not given.

Viewed it, and it has to be offside even though you can get around it by the way the law written.

Saha was the target of the pass, he was the only person there going for the ball.
The defender felt he had to cut out hte pass due to saha presence in the box
As such this means that Saha is active as he is influencing the play.

If a play had come from an onside position to run onto that "cut out" pass (in a "offside position" when defender played it, but not the initial pass) then no problem, but clearly the player that was offside influenced play and benefited from offside position thus it should been ruled out.

Mind you, look at the freekicks in past couple seasons when attacker stands well offside and jumps around blocking the keepers view of the ball. Multiple goals were allowed to stand in this situation which was crazy

Top one, and cerbs handbag picture is ace, but couldn't rep it, so I'm blaming that on wonk and female linespeople as well, just to show how topical and with it i am.

Also olol

They thought he’d always be a red – Torres! Torres!
You’ll never walk alone he said – Torres! Torres!
They bought the lad from sunny Spain,
He scored a few then grew a brain
He told the club he wants to leave,
To play with Frank instead of Steve
Fernando Torres – Chelsea’s new number nine!

:D

Doesn't fit the tune. And I reckon I could come up with better myself anyway :)

Neville legend, injuries ruined the twilight of his career, but he was needed in the dressing room more than the pitch these last few seasons anyway.

I always dread the matches when he is actually playing in recent times, so it is good that Neville is retired. But he a good player to have in the background to help bind the team.

New tactic for the weekend, stand rvp 20 yard offside and just try to hit the nearest opponent with the ball and hope he deflects to rvp :)

I don't think the Ref and Lino are at fault it is the stupid offside rule and the fact it is so complicated. Bring back offside being offside.

Liverpool will concede a few then, Johnson at LB and Aurelio at LM it looks like.

Was it Jaap Stam who described the Nevilles as "busy little c*nts" ?

Yeah I know that, but sky sports boys don't think it will be given too him. Came back in off the post not straight off the defender. BBC still crediting him with it though.
