@ Fast I thought City were extremely one dimensional going forward. If Tevez has an off-day then they rarely look like scoring. He worked hard yesterday but his touch and vision was lacking.

You were awful going forward, all that possession and completely predictable, no flair despite the players on show, no use of width till the 80th minute. Awful shots from distance and your strikers dropping to deep. Villa defended so well because hey faced no real challenge.


Turamber hit the nail on the head, despite all they money spent you are very much a one man team. The mood of the team is led by tevez, if he is slightly off form, the whole team are.

Mancini needs to get over himself with regards to Adam Johnson, they have more than enough defensive players to compensate him bombing on and causing absolute chaos.

I can't believe the british press are agreeing with Mancini in his treatment of Johnson, he's by far our most naturally gifted wide man with the ability to use both feet very well and chiop in with goals. His movement off the ball going forward is also very very good.

You only need to look at the goals he scored for England and the goals he has scored for city this season, making an angled run across the centre halves ready for a through ball. He reminds me so much of Kanchelskis, which aint a bad thing at all. City looked better once Johnson came on.

Problem is that Johnson didn't cost 25m+ like Tevez, Da Silva or Dzeko so arguably there's less pressure for him to deliver, or for Mancini to play him.

It causes the crowd to surge forward, putting pressure and crushing those at the front.

Pretty similar to a rather nasty event where lots of people died.
