Benzema is a great talent.

much better than Ade imo.

Benzema is a great talent indeed. Shame he just doesnt want to show that talent to the rest of the world.

Adebayor would bring something different to the squad. If it existed a posibilit, I would welcome him for sure, he cannot be more "weird" than Karim

I was pretty sure he'd be off, he doesn't get much game time and he needs it. Heard a rumour he might go on loan, i hope so.

Just seen this on another forum, no source so probably bollocks but rumours Benitez has been booted.

Its not official yet but its all over the place. He's back on the wirral as he still has his house there!

Apparently his wife posted on facebook that he got sacked by email!

I'm delighted to see him fail. I cant believe some of my friends are saying they would love to have him back!

Benitez has denied being sacked as recently as today I think, he's just on the (the world's shittest) holiday in Liverpool.

Also that Kakuta trouble never actually had any effect on our transfers, even after all the media talk at the time :p

It's only a matter of time for Rafa. He's a fucking idiot. I don't believe he's pulling the same tricks at Inter. Trying to make the board the bad guys, asking for confidence and money to sign players, trying to turn the fans against them not him. Luckily the board at INter aren't as stupid as at Liverpool.

They will still pay him off the stupid gits, he will walk away with another fat cheque totally unjustified.

Mario Balotelli after being presented with the Golden Boy trophy, organised by the Turin newspaper Tuttosport and voted for by European journalists to honour the most talented footballer under the age of 21, was cocky, arrogant and disrespectful towards other players. Jack Wilshere came second.

“What’s his name? Wil … ? No, I don’t know him, but the next time I play against Arsenal I will keep a close eye on him. Perhaps I can show him the Golden Boy trophy and remind him that I won it.”

What about past winners? Messi, Rooney, Fabregas, Aguero, van der Vaart etc.

“There’s only one that is a little stronger than me: Messi. All the others are behind me. I am delighted to receive the award, but who should have won it but me? Two years ago I finished sixth and then fourth in 2009. It was finally my turn.”

What about the future?

Balotelli has been linked with a return back to Italy where AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has spoken publicly of his desire to play with the Italian international.

“Let him continue to do it, so one day his wish will be fulfilled and I can wear the Rossoneri shirt.”

What a cock that guys is.

I do like how he came out offering three options to solve the current shit state of affairs and none of them involved using the excellent squad that just won the treble to continue winning things.

I'm sure he'll spend a load of money on second rate Spanish players and Jermaine Pennant soon enough. Then he'll try and replace Sneijder with Gareth Barry :D

Will be interesting to see how Inter do now that all their best players are no longer injured, wouldn't be surprised if they start winning again :(

"We need Garth Barry, our midfield is lacking. He can do a job no other player in my team can"

Along those lines?

lol at being linked with AC Milan.

Considering they have just bought Cassano despite already having Ronaldinho, Ibrah, Pato, Inzaghi, Robinho and an incredibly average midfield and defence, it wouldn't be surprising :p

I was hoping we would get them in the CL so Ferdy and Vida could keep Ibrah in their back pockets again. :D

Someone on redcafe found this post from a liverpool fan on RAWK
There are very few people I would go to war for. Three in fact. I aspire to be like them I respect and trust them absolutely even though they are all misunderstood.
Funnily enough two are Spanish. One is my dying father.
I believe in passion. I believe in charisma. I believe, because otherwise I would despair, in the power of an individual to inspire. To gather an army up and fucking fight with them. To care about the collective over self or image or anything fucking else.
Charisma. That's what they have. I was a Liverpool Football Club supporter long before I had heard of Rafa but fuck me I would follow that man anywhere. Integrity and absolute conviction while throwing aside personal image or gain is so rare these days. Incredibly rare.
And do you know what makes me really sad? This man actually fought for us. Fell on his sword in fact. Yet still there are people who tell me he spent a billion pounds on transfers and that zonal marking is a nasty foreign invention.
Fuck them all. To hell and back.
Why? Because that's a man I can believe in. For all of his faults I would run through a brick wall for him. Because he would for me and you.
Yet some of you would prefer the Sky Sports line of thinking and swallow all the lies and judge him on his final season with us. When he took his eye off the ball to fight for us and expose those horrible bastards for what they were did you appreciate what he was doing? Or were you slagging him off for not bringing on subs early enough or for taking off Torres.
If its the latter then shame on you.
Two seasons ago we saw what Rafa could do with a good squad but not the great one he could have had if backed in the transfer market. And we nearly bloody won it.
Some of you criticise him for buying badly. Don't you understand that he bought Pennant because he couldn't afford Alves? That he had to make do with what he could afford rather than what he wanted? That he had to buy players in order to make a profit on them so he could create his own funds despite making the club £100m through CL revenue.
This man fell on his fucking sword for you. And some of you would prefer to repeat the Sky Sports lies about his spending and judge him on the Alonso saga (when the truth is he never wanted to sell Xabi) or moan about him not playing the media game? Well fuck you. We said that you wouldn't know what you lost till it was gone but now you can see it with your own eyes.
Rafa was halfway through his project when the cancers bought the club and fucked us over. It makes me sick that people don't want to give him the chance to complete that project. By dismissing him and demeaning him you are dismissing a man who cares about the club and the city as much as you do.
That's rare. Its invaluable. And its Liverpool Football Club all over. The man gets the club. He loves the club and the fans in particular. Please don't dismiss him on the basis of one bad season and the snide media lies. There's a perch we are about to fall off of. Let's back the bloke we know will pour his very soul into keeping us on there eh?
The retard deserves Rafa back xD

tbf when you beat Inter a couple of years ago I thought Ibrah played well considering he was man marked by those 2, he created more than your whole team in fact. Only problem was the rest of Inter were fucking useless.

Fucking LOL. What a muppet. He's described a man the exact polar opposite of Rafa.

Yeah he fell on his sword for you... his £6million quid pay off sword just before he was going to quit anyway.

BBC aren't on it yet, but it's Sky's lead story.

Bring him back to LOLLERpool please. Cannot wait for the misery he can inflict on them.

Ashley missed out, he could have really given the Geordie fans something to be misreble about over Xmas if he'd waited!

Rafa to Blackburn? So he can make mediocre signings and moan at the owners lack of investment?

Inter Milan website (English version at least) posted news very recently stating he's still their manager? :O
