I guess you are talking about Poulsen and Konchesky for the "two 30 year old reserves".. well I don't think Konchesky is that bad, for sure he is better than Fabio Aurelio and Poulsen is not that bad :/

FM doesn't mean they will be class.

Shelvey didnt play at all for Charlton last year and only featured in the Championship for them when they were heading down as it was. Wilson looked suspect against Northampton, SPL defences aren't a good judge of a defender at all. Both pricey investments that will most likely flop given Liverpool's recent record with youth.

Poulsen is terrible, theres a reason that Juve were laughing when you actually came in for him.

Getting a cap for Scotland and scoring against one of the worst teams in the world (Faroes) is not an indication hes going to be great, at most another Berra. Most the time FM are far off on youth tbh.

Saha's no where near a a crap player. He's a got 1 in 3 goal ratio, and you only have to look at what he did to Chelsea last year. He's been unlucky with injuries but his ability is not an issue at all.
