Obviously it's goal.com but an interesting article, wonder if Madrid will eventually implode.

Madrid implode every season, and have done for decades! Nothing new there really. Did you see the look on their managers face the other day? A record breaking start counts for nothing at Real Madrid, a manager is literally only one result away from being fired.

What a way to run a railway.

I bet Marc when totenham bought him that he would score 20 goals and be worth the money, unfortunately spurs fucked him over.

When he moved to Sunderland I asked for a rematch!!!!

He's only appointed director of football but their current manager has been tipped for the sack so maybe Avram will replace him

I like the latest on the Ferguson vs Referees saga...

referee unions (iirc) are calling for Ferguson to be banned from management full stop. No, not a touchline ban, a full scale ban from being a manager. Lets see the fa try that one out

Stupid call (if its true, havent seen it mentioned anywhere) but something needs to be done. He basically does what he wants, makes a refs life a misery and gets away with it every time, and most of the time gets the decisions in utd's favour.

Because the FA came out and told the whole world that you get 30 seconds for every sub, and 1 minute for every goal scored, it should be expected that any goal scored in injury time gets another minute added on. They can't give people these figures then not add the time on.

It's the FA's own fucking fault, had they of just left it as it was where a board showed extra minutes and it was at the discretion of the ref, this shit would not be going on. But as with everything the FA try and implement, the Ref's have no fucking clue how to go on.

Fergie does take the piss, we all know that, but why bother making rules if the officials might not stick to them.

Arsenal and Manchester City are ready to do battle for the signature of Barcelona's veteran defender Carles Puyol, according to reports in Spain.

Nice to see I was 100% correct. :D

aye that is one allegation down and shows we done nothing wrong. Lets see if anyone else wants to press their cases, lose and then maybe be out of pocket if United decide to take counter action in regards to expenses and damages due to the allegation.

By the letter of FIFA's poor laws we have done nothing wrong, whether we are morally correct is another matter. You have to feel for clubs who spend time and resources developing talent only for situations like this to occur.

The result for United should turn out good for us since Kakuta was also too young to sign a professional contract?

other things were taken into account from the looks of things... ie how much they were getting for playing for the club at the time they left etc.

In the Utd case the guy was only getting his expenses and therefore deemed to be on amateur status as he basically an unpaid player. Or that how i read that.

I think there alot of factors involved that reporters have not been privvy too so it hard to actually come to a proper conclusion from this. Though will help Utd fight future claims as they got full information of the decision

Was it the Chel$ki guy signed a contract stating if he played x games for the National Youth team then he would be in a pre contract which i think he did hence the problem.
