So you think it should have been a peno? :)

I will say if it was given i would not mind. It was ball to hand but why were his arms there? So i can see how it could be given. From the other angle it looks like his arms are over his face so he was protecting himself.

There are incidents in every game like this 50/50 some you win some you loose. Harsh if they are given though. Strange, not seen any mention of the Liv v Man Utd game where Berbatov pulled someone(?) over on one of numerous dead ball set pieces Liv had.

I mentioned it but the Man Utd police said Kuyt pulled as much eventho Berba ripped Kuyts shirt apart :p

He turns his body into the ball and it comes of his off hand, which he is not throwing into the path of the ball. Hardly a deliberate handball. His arms are also tucking into his body.

Not a penalty.

It's a pen, he shouldn't be putting his arms like that. Maybe if the ball is going straight for his face, but it wasn't. As soon as you stick your arms in the way of the ball it's a handball.

Spot on. Look at his body language, he is turning away from the ball and instinctively moving his hand to his face to protect himself.

No penalty imo

He has not sacked his agent, but he will be leaving Valencia and signing for barcelona, if not in january then in summer to replace Thiery Henry.

This is nailed on.

whot, villa on the left side? what a waste of him then

You think Henry will be off in the summer then Marc? I thought he was planning to see out his contract which finishes next year?

Why would Barcelona buy Villa? Just spent a stupid amount on Ibrah, they wont change from the trident formation and Villa isnt suited to that left side. Also Ribery is suppose to be coming in?

I wanna know what the deal is with David Villa. Every week we hear about him and Man Utd (plus a whole ton of teams). So far he's sacked his agent and Valencia are debt ridden. It's probably all bullshit?

Valencia have stated that they will not sell any players in January...

however it also been stated that they will be bringing £50m into the club through transfers at the end of the season, with their 3 top players being possible sources of this income.

Villa had a chance to go to Madrid already i believe and opted to stay... and he be less inclined to go there now with all the recent purchases meaning getting in first team be difficult.
Then there is Barcelona... on teh form of their forwards he struggle to get into the game regularly.

I think Chelsea are praying they win their appeal and they will swoop in and take him.

Marlon King has just got 18 months for punching a woman while out celebrating his wives pregnancy.

I know they're different cases but you cant help but think how did Gerrard get nothing for punching someone in a club when a Wigan defender gets 18months for it?

TBH i don't think we'd be going after Villa really. I think Carlo has his sights set on the long-term future of our team so for a similar price Aguero would be a better choice being something like 6 years younger for a few million more.

That said i don't envy any new strikers coming in trying to upset the partnership of Didier and Anelka :p

Aguero alone is what, £43m or so. At least I think that what chelsea had rejected.

But aye, he would be a good signing for them, and he will possibly be on the market in January from some the things I heard whilst watching bits of spanish football this season.

Chelsea seriously need to get their appeal won in december because if htey dont they may well find alot of top players moving around whilst they got no chance of getting the Russians money involved.... unless they make deals with player and teams that will come into affect in a few windows time

but Gerrard was drunk and just being a prick...but the guy's injuries were slight

whereas King was being your typical egotistical lobotomised flash cnut footballer who punched a woman to the floor...plus he was black

Indeed, so impartial jury what do you think?

We had a similar one, if anything Dunne was closer to the player than the Arsenal defender was, given against us at Blackburn. Very harsh if given, like ours was. Two minutes from the end of the game.

punched a woman that told him to bugger off after trying to feel her up, having already tried it on with her and the entire bar whilst celebrating his missus being pregnant...

never known that as a celebration style before. lol

Michael Ballack? o_O

Essien for being injured most of the year? Or am I mixing up my seasons. Hmm.

Thierry Henry for being good a few years ago?

What an odd list.

Ballack > Giggs! :p

Lol, there always seems to be a few odd choices on these lists but it's only really between 2-3 people (or just Messi) so who cares that much? :l

I assume its the year 09 and not just a season? So Essien has played most of it. Henry was pretty good last season as well.

On last seasons form it clearly is Messi.
If using this seasons form up to now then Ronaldo got himself back in contention but I still think it needs to go to messi.

Also for attitude I would like it to go to Messi because he seems so laid back most the time, where Ronaldo seeks out attention. I like Ronaldo still, but Messi deserves it I feel this year and just because he not an attention seeker i hope he not overlooked
