If only Nani was this hungry every time he played. Some great dribbling, taking defenders on, lots of crosses (and good one's at that).

that the problem i always had with Nani.... he has the ability, the technique and technical ability has always been there but he just is inconsistant and doesnt seem to have the will to push himselfin every game

Rooney was in devestating form today, little disappointed in Owen but he dont play often so what can you expect.

Hull put up a very good fight imo, and 4-0 is a bit unfair on them. Im so glad that Rooney isnt doing his usual score up until december and then only get a few the rest of the season :)

Owen made some very good runs, that Nani and Rooney quite often ignored. He created space for others to work, but yes, it would have been nice if her had done more when he had the ball.

What's with the Arsenal team today? Injuries, or saving players for the league?

I think the official line is trying to prevent injuries as we already have about 10 out so Wenger is worried he keeps playing the same team every week you get injuries.

In reality i think hes resting them as its a massive 4 games coming up.

That Fuller thing is why people dive the ref should have gone back to the penalty when he did not get the ball back. Because he did not next time Fuller even sniffs contact he will go down.

2 not bad goals from Stoke there i still dont like that keeper though. If Wenger needs to spend £30 mil on a player i want in to be a new number 1.

2 trophies left for Arsenal, before Wenger faces directors who at the start of the season wanted a trophy being won.

Stoke actually played very well. yes they often used a longer ball but it because Arsenal couldnt handle it that made it a good tactic. That said the last 2 goals was good wing play.

I agree Fuller should have got the penalty, it why I understand people going down at the slightest touch. If it a solid clear cut foul 2 yards from the ref but he dont give it due to trying to stay on your feet then why would you bother at all.

Arsenal had a team out that they thought could win the game, afteral they had Fabergas playing who would be the key player to rest if you didnt care about it. Couple that with the fact that they scored their last 2 goals with a strong arsenal lineup after substitutions shows they done well. ONtop of that Arshavin and Eduardo were kept quiet by the stoke side after they came on.

Well done to stoke. Credit where it is due. Lets hope Chelsea go out and someone else outside top 4 get the win

what a lovely ref. He's actually doing something about the diving :D the red card was more than deserved.

What an idiot lucio is, think the commentators should shut up as well. Ref did the right thing, made a perfect call on the dive. Lucio should have told his team mates to leave it. Sniejder must have really been foul mouthed to get a straight red for that.

doing something as stupid as he did, is a red card in my book. It wouldn't suprise me if he said something to the ref though - Sneijder is an arrogant asshole. I doubt anybody likes him at inter.

ah well, the 2nd half is going to be exciting :)

Also, fuck me, I now remember why I stopped watching Italian football. What a bunch of whining, pathetic, cheating losers. Spanish football is bad for it too, but makes up for it with some great attacking play. Italian football is just boring until the next foul, dive or other bit of play acting.

italian football hasn't move much the last 5-10 years. I still watch it every now and then, but that's mainly because I like a good tackle.

haha, a dive from Maicon. My god inter are awful. Even the defenders are diving.

Edit: and they scored on the freekick after the dive Oo I bet there's going to be a massive drama in Italy tomorrow, if Milan doesn't turn this around.

Milan hardly deserve anything though, their play has been over cautious, and lacking creativity. Their attacking has been woeful against 10 men.

anyone know why Ronaldo got sent of in tonights match? by sound of commentators it was for something stupid he done when 2-0 up which makes me think he dived or bitched at ref for not getting freekick
