Shocking news just in:
Singer mimes on stage!
CGI used in TV broadcast!
In this day and age are you actually surprised these thing happen?
Typical China to be honest, a fancy facade to cover a rotten core.
Just mentioning after so many people were going on about how amazing the opening was. Anyone can make it look fantastic with CGI
Tell that to George Lucas please.
and every western country as well... execpt England is greasy and rottenYeah that's pretty much what all countries with faulty governing systems or governments do
So you don't see the difference between a movie and a supposed live event?

I can tell the difference. I don't see how its relevant though.
The Olympic Opening Ceremony is a show. You watch it to be entertained. Does it matter how they create these things? What is the difference between this and anything you go to see at the theatre? (or Cinema as not many people go to the theatre anymore.)

i dont agree at all tbh

Agree with Cadelin, I enjoyed it and will continue to enjoy the Olympic games and personally I couldn't care less, the rest of it was real anyway.
any other country would probably lie through their arse to try and cover it up.
Yeah, 'cause China is one of the honest countries aroundonly problem i have is the girls that they wouldn't allow to be seen.
the footsteps i couldn't care less about.
i'm quite certain they aint the only one thats been manipulating a olympic opening in some way. but they HAVE probably been the only country that ADMITTED to it.

me either.
I've always seen the olympic opening ceremony as a show of a nations history, culture and personality, not a CG film experience. I reckon the organisers wanted to wow everyone with the ceremony, with the hope of the viewer forgetting any previous controversy surrounding the games.
/edit and I guess you cant blame 'em :>
it happens all over Asia not only china. trainers beating their pupils. and its no secret. in all matial arts they get hit according to my sources!I saw a documentary about how chinese athleates were treated by their trainers. And after seeing that I don't want to think about what would happen if that girl was singing herself and got something wrong
