Hello al thanks for this weekend i had great fun on leading ml 1,2,3,4,6,8 for the first time without sleeping on my desk.
here to say i am not leading any more raid becouse i had some bad thing heard about it that i couldnt lead wel at ml 8 ur right i couldnt becouse i never done that ml without afk.stick but on other mls i think i did great job,
anyways some talk bad about it and that just pissed me of i spend alot of time on that to get it working i did explain correct enough for as far as i think.
people that where on raid understand there where some hard things to deal with players that keep buggering ur head each step and spamming u to dead while they have credit well anyways enough said. Thanks all u made me happy for comming and mad for the bad talking around my back.

i went to the raid with Shanessa on Alb
then i followed on your raid aswell

what ppl seem to miss is that Shit happens easy

and if that was your first raid then shouldent give up hope,
all others went smooth and what i heard someone always start beatin Kratos

if u do run another ML8 u will have flesh on your bones
as u know what u need and dont have to be insecure,
Also if ppl actually picked up loot there wouldent be any need to redo steps

A shame Proop, I think you did well. It's not your fault that you have so many people on stick, getting items that are needed on the raid. I hope you won't let 1 bad experience ruin it for you, because stuff like this happens quite often. Just let things cool for a while, some folks just never are happy. I do hope to see raids from your side in the future

1 big problem was the people that didnt pick al loot i have to say 1 good thing of raid, like 85% was verry active on 4 6 at 8 like 75% was active but stil verry nice

Every raid leader gets whined at, it's part of the job.
Ignore what the 5% on IRC are whining at... they will whine if you do everything perfectly tbh and focus on the people that are thankful they got mlX done.

Leading a FFA raid is prob the most painful thing u can do ingame.

There will always be whiners on FFA raids and the leader pretty much have 2 options here.

1: /ignore
2: /kick + /ignore

Let´s face it. If they don´t like how the raid is led then they can leave the BG and run their own. Make a solid line where it ends and everyone who passes that line kick them out of the BG. Just make sure that everyone is treated the same way. Even friends and guildies

Only thing I noticed about the raid parts which I attended was that it seemed you weren't that prepared for them, but I'm sure that is something you can work on for future raids...

You'll noticed the more times you do a raid (and I mean lead a raid, not just attend), you'll soon work out what you need to do for each step, the best order to do the steps in, and what items you'll need before you can start the next step etc... and you'll also learn how to deal with the unruley albs that try to cause problems !

I don't think I'd ever lead a multi-ML raid coz I just don't have the time (where would I put all the loot ? ) or the patience to put up with the whines, but I think people who have attended my raids have not only left with credit etc, but with a bit more of an understanding of each step as I try to explain in detail what the step requires BEFORE we get near to doing the step. That way I hope that people understand what to expect before we start the step, and also what I expect of them as their raid leader. It also ensures that I have got the step correct in my head too, as I normally get corrected with someone knows something I don't about a certain step.

Just remember, it's your raid, so if you ain't happy with someone, tell em they going to get kicked and they normally soon start behaving again! Failing that, just hold up the entire BG until the offending person sorts themself out, and point the whines in their direction

One more comment on your raids: Stop waiting for the odd person who went LD, or taking the entire BG to go rez someone who has trouble staying with the rest of the BG... I have to admit I got quite annoyed when you were holding up a BG over well over 100 people for one person who was LD... What you think /bg grantcredit is for!

The problem with the ML8 raid was that Prop never done that raid before and it is a really buggy annoying ML as well

Anyway, nice to have these MLs and thanks to this raids i'll equip a minstrel on this server

Heya we worked with 3 man team on 2 days each 3 ml raid we used 3 people some to prefarm some items and some to search stuff on inet to know and 1 was leading the force and getting drunk and stoned <--- me but stil it worked nice, soon i am planning them again but then fully prepapared some changes alot kicks on afk and not stoned, becouse i now know how this freakin 8 works and its damn easy!

There's no point kicking afk people from the raid unless there afk'ishness actually puts the raid in danger. The thing about afk people is that they do amusing stuff like lagging off stick and dying in funny ways (if you know where to run). They also produce amusing whines of OMG MATES WHERE ARE YOU I LAGGED FOR A SECOND AND YOU HAD ALL GONE while standing 2 zones away from the zerg. There's a simple golden rule however... if they are afk, they risk not getting credit. Don't delay the zerg to go get them, just laugh and move on. They can go afk on the next raid and get it, it's not like it's losing them any time afterall!

This of course keeps the people who arn't afk amused and less likely to fall asleep at their keyboards. :worthy:

I only came on ML6 Proop and thought you ran very well.
Your patience with that guy Daewin(sp) was admirable
The amount of people that just did'nt get the fact STICK to you for credit was unbelivable.
I was in a small Rigante group and none of us were afk,we just kept quiet and let the raid be ran.
Keep it up bud.

might be a bit late but.. don't stop with leading raids because of some mindless bafoons that aren't listening/paying attention and what so ever...
today on my ml 5 raid, I learned the hard part of leading a raid.. the mindless bafoons that won't listen to the raid leader.. so I punished them and suddenly they pay attention pretty lame imho..

but will I stop leading raids? no!
will try again and see what'll hapen then... but after this I have more respect than first for the raid leaders.. seeing how though it is..

Raids take 2-3 hours sometimes, can't expect everyone to be there 100% of the time. Sometimes you need to eat a bit/drink/go loo.
