Raids take 2-3 hours sometimes, can't expect everyone to be there 100% of the time. Sometimes you need to eat a bit/drink/go loo.

Yet if the raid leader went afk for 15 mins in the middle of the raid, what would you do?

If you want to go afk fine. /auto s, so you don't get drops before you do and don't whine if you miss credit cos you couldn't be arsed tho!

My personal view is that doing multiple ML's in one session is very hard on the raid leader. I'll not do them, as the level of concentration I require of myself leading raids is too much like work to do for that period of time.

I know people want them done fast, but it's not really for me.

I come on them, sometimes, but normally do about 1 1/2 of the MLs, and skip off before the lotto.

I'm not often an AFKer. I've not missed one ML credit or ding on any character through AFK. If I have a meal in the middle of a raid, I just eat at my computer or don't do the raid. I don't think I've ever had to leave the computer for more than 5 minutes during a raid or xp session.

Glad you've changed your mind Prop.
In my opinion even going on a ML marathon can be stressful in itself.
Never mind running it,I can't imagine me ever doing that to be honest I'd need 3 keyboards(due to breakage),a crash helmet(to ensure head does'nt go to a bloody pulp on keyboard),10 cans of stella,6 joints(to ensure calmness over stella),a piss bucket(to catch leakage) and last but not least an understanding wife that will accept me being stuck on my comp 6-8 hours and willing to take over controls for 5 mins(which she does but moans like hell).
So got a lot of respect for the guys running this sort of thing,it dispalys a lot of dedication, leadership skills and not much benefical gain to themselves.
Anyway I babbling off to sit in a corner with DoaC withdrawel symtoms :)
