Mine is a Valkyn with no aug con/toughness and this is with moa2 on buffs, cant say how much with moa3.
Does the rr from a bot chnage anything ? Didnt think so, apart from more points for more moa.

Agree with most of what you're saying however you detract from it with the above. I have Kobbie Savage - Capped Con and Hits HP is ~ 1500 NON BUFFED, guess Trolls / Norse Might have 1700 and Dwarfs 1800 without buffs? H2H Weaponskill is about 1450 ish with poors ish buffs (yellow Str/Con, blue Dex/Quick)

giving thanes the same end chant that paladins have is a nice idea but

you gotta think what it will do to warriors i mean look at armsman how many armsman are kicking around compared to paladins these days?

Give Thanes End Regen.

Remove it from Shamans
Remove aoe mezz from healer but keep instant aoe mezz.

Give aoe mezz to runies.
Give skald an ablative chant too.

Not sure how people would respond to that but it would make 2 more classes in mid more viable in rvr groups and those playing them more happier.

Not that its directly to this topic id like to give a general tip:)

My advice to anyone starting a new char. Start the char that is LEAST played and most hated of all. You are likely to be the new ÛBER char when dinged 50. (why i made a cabby like a year ago, not that i ever lvled it to 50 but anyways :p)

That's the only bad point it would be similar but at the moment there is hard ways to adjust mid classes to fit rvr groups often(except for thanes/skalds) if mythic use their fucking brains.Though when 2 runies in a group(48 rc?) one that debuffs and other nukes with assist they can be very good, it's a shame really that pbaoe is the best defence for a caster nowadays.

Its true that two runies working together can be effective, but not against enemies who know what they're doing and come interrupt them. Very good when you're winning already to rack up kills and at milegates/keeps, but in open ground, naaah...

Nice suggestions though.

Well, I like the changes so much, I just don't experience a thane being as terrible as others do and these will certainly help. It's obvious though that being group friendly remains a big problem.

However, it looks like at present the test implementation reduces Thors Lightning (in the test done from 301 down to 280) and Toothgnasher damage (in the test from 228-212). Yep, two nerfs for thanes which we'll have to hope are removed before the patch goes live.

its a start, but no where near what thanes need.

there is zero point in playing my thane when my BD can do everything that my thane do, just a heck of a lot better (except AE, but i never use mjollnir on reinnon).

instas, best spell in the SC line atm, but it is still pretty crap

tanking, my BD is better, he has more hits buffed then Reinnon unbuffed, thats not right.

only good thing is the improved str/con buff.

i hope mythric adds more to this patch consurning thanes

Poor thanes... mid has the best melee class, and the worst...

anything can beat a thane, and i dont understand why his base class is 'viking'... anything can beat that gimp in melee...

Krill that dudes testing was skewed by relics.

TFL has not been reduced.

Only damage change is to Mjollnir and Thunder Roar, both upwards, 18% and 70% respectively i believe.

beat a troll hammer/shield thane rr4 (eldig vakten) came two mids but they spared me :)
