fun reading this...and i agree that GoA is a little pathetic about names...and the ppl that gets offended are ppl that belives in god almighty and think all cursed names are bad...i have seen many many violation on CoC names out the...goa dident do nothing about it...maybe u should take out a dictanary and look up the words/names first and let the player decide the new name

However names like sextoy dont need to be spammed in young ones faces, at a young age which can be quite possible in darkage.

Its would be a case of:

Dear GoA i find the name sextoy offensive because i have children and they play the game sometime, could you please do somthing about it.

You aint got a leg to stand on with that one.

But names like Terrorism is somthing that is happening around the world and children learn about it in schools so i dont know what the problem was with that. So they cant use children as an excuse this time.

So i wonder, how would a person be offendeded by the word Terrorism.

The word Terrorism might remind people about things like trade towers and other bombing etc etc.

But by not having the word Terrorism in Darkage , is not going to make me forgot about Acts of Terrorism.

Now if GoA was going to enforce creative names, they would have done it a long time ago, because ive seen some right crazy names.

They should have a filter to stop people even making these names in the first place, if its going to be a problem.

Some of the names that are technically against CoC are quite funny and seem to last a long time without complaints. I expect GOA do have to deal with the odd one that most people would agree is totally offensive. I remember running into someone on Albion with a name suggesting people rape children. One of my group said they would report that one, and couldn't really disagree with that.

Well there are some names in this Game who are way out of line.There was an Alb once who ran arround killing people and his name was Wehrmacht.XXX was just killed by Wehrmacht. I mean can it be more stupid? I reported him and a Hib Char who was also called Wehrmacht (some random level20 toon).Dunno if they changed their names. But for this one i would have deleted their Accounts.....
