Teh Plan: Next Hunt!

Well done all who attended, bad start (when we did eventually start – 1hour late…) but got better and better!

Few points though:

- Where the hell were you Karlo?
- We need to decide what it is that the eldritch actually do, if we cant find anything then eky and del may need to re-roll BM’s.
- For those who haven’t arranged a time with shy yet to get armour and SC, please do that before next session.
- Stick needs to be faster, once we got good at it we pwnd at hit and run.
- We still need one more druid and also we need to decide if we need another BM, sib is currently one of the BM’s but he can only play past 7:30 (2 hours after we start). So do we run with one less BM for half of it or get a replacement?
- After proving himself, conch will be ‘teh zerg leadur fyi’.
- We need less 'omg we are uber' and more listening to adari. We can get excited when we are safely resting. Also its really important that when we are told to stick we do, even if there is an inf which we are chasing down (im talking about me here, but a lot of people did it).

To experiment we are going to change the groups around a bit:

Disease anything and everything that isn't mezzed (slight snare plus half heals etc so handy )
Snare anything chasing support about.
Pbaoe guard for support (support runs to you when they have aggro, or u run to them if they are stunned and u spam that pbaoe button like there's no tommorow till stuff falls over )
Str/con debuff (sadly you wont have the aoe one by bg, but it's insta so just spam it about on everyone (preferably people who haven't taken damage yet as the con part has most effect on them).

Lastly, (and i found this on bg1 and 3 on excal when my xp grp with my chanter was going through there) a lot of people in the bgs aren't so tip top at rvr as people at lvl 50 rvr (understandable as for some these are their first chars). Often you find that the majority of enemy groups will just hit what comes closest to them (read your assist train). If this happens you can charge in after your assist train (who have all the aggro) and spam that pbaoe button. You kill most of the enemy group in one go and get some impressive death spam.

imo dump the mana elds and get 3 druids in each group. with 6 bms assisting in a zerg of mids/albs, being chain healed, would pwn

We wanted the elds to avoid pbae, all they did was broke mezzes really. Like you said people tend to go for the assist train and so as we always got good mezz in we liked to take them one by one (with me slamming whatever wasnt mezed).

They did do disease and de-buff etc but I just feel that 2 more BM's would be more useful.

You're going to tell del and eky that they have to play druids? Most people find it the most boring class in the game (and those two happen to be part of those people).

No problem, we survived just about. You and I have it fairly easy, they are too stupid to go for the support, and when thye do there is so much of it that they keep each other alive. I spen tmost of the night in the assist train, rear-slamming anything that tried to run.

Can you make next monday?

Perhaps you are right for the bg. Mana elds don't get one of their best (imo) abilities by thid, the aoe str/con debuff. Stick that on top of the mez (doesn't break it) and the grp have instantly lost 200-400 (ish) hps each. Not to mention the str parts effect on tanks weapon skill. When we did the bgs on hib, grp was more xp related (we were aiming for a final rvr grp, but as i had a reg druid already i took one of the druid spots and put in a chanter as a second pbaoe for faster xp, meaning to play druid once grp got 50) so when we got a nice mez off with people bunched up, me and the mana eld just charged into the middle and spammed pbaoe = dead grp.

You are in the minority, the ammount of people I have PMd and asked who have been keen to join then told me to fuck off when I told them that the only spot left was as a druid...

You're very welcome to the spot if you want, pac healers are boring without a good group anyway.
