nah, Aragone didn't get kicked from CF, and when he took that LW from the Legion-raid it was some sort of after-raid-claiming for the raid-leader. Don't think this is in any way comparable to what happened here really...

Seems some people will do anything to get that uber mace or hauberk. Even if it means cheating by breaking basic lotto rules.

ofc it is comparable, it was still classed as stealing, its like, say i did a raid, never said i was pre-claiming, a wep about 7 ppl on raid wanted droped, they only went for that, and i said im keeping it, and fk off, how many of u would hate me? do u see my point?

You can only be judged on the evidence presented. From what I can see the conclusion is fairly obvious and posting it on here only highlights a warning to people what this person seems capable of. Whilst people might accuse it of being put up for flame bait, I would much prefer to know I could be grouping with this person and what he is capable of than be ignorant of the facts (prearmed is prewarned).

If TM does have any evidence then why has he not presented it on here. It would have at least saved his reputation. Also, I am sure that if this evidence was present, the CF GMs would have seen it so their action kicking him from the guild speaks volumes as well.

Some things you cant sort in game.

You can see selene trying to sort it in game with polite words.

If it doesnt get posted here then the guy gets away with it.

The message must reach as many people as possible, so the thread should remain as high on the boards as it will naturally fly.
Crime of this variety has to be dealt with differetly in MMORPGs than in real life, there is no official system to deal with this, because it is a crime of trust.
In DAoC trust is very important and if you can't trust those you raid with then the comunity will not function. People need to feel that it is safe to trust their fellow players.

HOWEVER, if it becomes clear that the evidence presented was inaccurate.
OR if the player in question decides to return the weapon to the original loto members for a proper loto (one which it would be highly advisable that he not attempt to enter)
THEN it would be suitable to have a sticky/announcement to clear his name.

But until this occurs people should be allowed to express their feelings, because unlike RL the player does not require this game to exsist and if he does not respect the community then he should not be an accepted member of it.
This is not an acceptable form of punishment in RL society and I am not suggesting that it should be, but DAoC is very different in this respect.

The purpose of punishment in this case is not to change the player, but protect the community.
If the player does change however then what he has done he can undo and in doing so will surrender the gain he sought in full. Then it can be seen that his name should be restored as no benifit of his crime would remain.
