I'll give SWG a whirl. Although the thought of lots of mini 1337ers running around does make my blood run cold, the levelling system sounds fun and compatible with my utter inability to get good at any game.
DAoC was/is pretty, but all that there really was to it was a glorified hack n slash game. All advancements of character related to healing in battles or fighting in battles. All loot existed for was just selling to buy armour or weapons (or dye for your armour or weapons). In UO, everything you picked up pretty much had a purpose - you can shear a sheep, get wool, which you can spin it into cotton, then make cloth, from which you could make clothes or bandages. You see a tree, you could hack at it and get kindling to make a fire, or wood to make furniture or arrows. Your character could be a secret assassin, a closet baker, or herd cats as a past time.
SWG looks like it could have this depth, which to me seems fantastic. It'll either be the best MMORPG ever, or a humungous waste of bandwidth, but I'll give it a go regardless.
