ok although u choose a starting spec ( read fighter, acolite, mage, crafter) you can "get" more lines.
So it realy is very very free form.
added to that ( i can put detail here because the dev's ahve said this) youhave a set number of points in your life if you decide you dont like being good at shooting, you can forget that line and recover the points to use somewhere else.
But this has a cost in that all qualifications have mutiple requisites, ie to get uber jedi 2 I need to also be half specced in lightsabres of death and have 500 points of "experience"
I cant go into more detail or explain things propperly due to NDA, but that above is just an example, even beta testers haven't been allowed to test Jedi yet
where I have "quotationed" a word it means I could go into a lot more detail but cant until the NDA s lifted.
the MCS vs OCS has raged for ever on the swg boards and im not going to get into it here. Having played the beta i now dont think it will be an issue because < So it realy is very very free form. > when I say very very free form, I mean very very free form.
Hell even your charachter can be totally changed by in game classes/ charachters / yourself.
