friends, and still new stuffs from ToA are waiting for me to explore

fooked up a few things, i hit bigger, everyone hits bigger, but i still i don't hit big enough to kill hibs

4.What do you think is the best thing gained from ToA?

my battler and malice i like the new zones, they are beautiful and a few ml encounters are fun (especially the chess)

5.What do you think is the worse thing gained from ToA?

6.If you could pick one class from each realm that you feel needs to be more groupable and boosted a bit what would you choose?

cleric smite line needs a little love and wizards' all three lines should be given a little more utility

6 of em
merc: best "light" tank in the game if savages don't count ;p
ice wizi: hm, want to enjoy it but i got nearly no chance to play it in group so waiting for nicer times
necro: booooring
friar: was fun to xp it up but i can't be arsed to farm with it
infi: it's fun if i don't have anything else to do
mincer: best char evah, but i'm n00b for its chances

8.Which enemy class would you like to play in rvr if you had a choice from them all?

hm, as hib is ain't enemy, i'd say shamy or SM, they must be both fun

9.Are you going to try new frontiers?

yup

10.How do you feel about new frontiers ideas so far?

who is high RR now, will pwn there aswell and low rr-s and random groups will be doomed, they will be forced to zerg if they wanna win

11.Roughly how much longer will you play daoc?

kinda dunno, not thinkin about quitting, maybe when most of my friends are not playin i will find something else

12.If you could meet three people in the game who would you choose?

as i know nearly everyone from AoD, i would say the FL crew, they are nice ppl to play and chat with

dunno, WoW seems to be fun, but we'll see

yup

i think i would jump in it again, even if it caused a few rl problems, i made lotta friends who i'd miss

Most of the time

The people although a lot of old friends seem to have gone

3.Now that ToA is here what do you think of it's impact?
The most striking impact was the mass exodus before it even arrived and the outbreak of doomsayers forecasting the end of the world

4.What do you think is the best thing gained from ToA?
My ridiculously big hammer which makes me laugh and perfecter abilities

Wizard wizard and wizard

7.How many lv50's do you have and how much do you enjoy each and why?
My earthwiz was the first and she is only played in relic defence because I find casters too frustrating in rvr
My smite cleric is the most fun but I don’t get to play her often enough
My merc is the char I play most because after almost two years in the game I finally get to hit something before I croak
My sorc is 49 and plans to stay there in case anyone tries to force her to rvr

8.Which enemy class would you like to play in rvr if you had a choice from them all?
I like my chanter but she’s still only 36 and my luri shield hero makes me smile

9.Are you going to try new frontiers?
Yup

10.How do you feel about new frontiers ideas so far?
Mostly good one or two aspects I’m not too sure about but as always I will play it before I make my mind up about it

11.Roughly how much longer will you play daoc?
Don’t think there is an answer to that. Until I find I no longer look forward to logging in or until all my friends have gone maybe

I don’t want to meet any of them. I have my own mental image of all of them and I love them all just the way they are in that

I find it hard to tell if lag is down to my comp or the server but I do think customer service and in-game support should be substantially boosted

Ok, i've now thought about it for 20 mins... and i can't seem to find anything good about it.. you get better weaps/armours.. if you got the time to lvl/farm or whatever you must do to get it... but so does your enemie.. so its only really consuming my play-time coz i have to try and be as good as the others... but i am sure there is something good about ToA.. only i can't remember it at this point... maybe i'll post it later if i remember it...

1 pala.. growing sick.. making new 50's...

Seems ok.. better RvR bonuses... hardre to take keeps..

no idea.. only seen ToA on scroll-hunting, ML's, artifacts etc..

I'd probably declined... but who knows what the future will bring...

Yes but not as much as i did since the last patch came out and i get a pour frame rate.

If i didn't it i'd be wasting my sub money

Dispite all the new stuff not too much really, new stuff will always be added to keep people interested.

4.What do you think is the best thing gained from ToA?
Good ROG caster staffs.

5.What do you think is the worse thing gained from ToA?
Um selling of stuff for a huge ammount, if you find something powerful and don't want it then leaving it in a CM isn't gonna help your realm if someone else could be using it to beat up on the enemy.

6.If you could pick one class from each realm that you feel needs to be more groupable and boosted a bit what would you choose?
its got to be the 6 standard stealther classes (archers and assassins).

7.How many lv50's do you have and how much do you enjoy each and why?
just 2 Cleric and Necro, Necros good for farming and PLing, also fun to play in DF. Clerics albion only class that can fix a target for AOE interupting (mainly useful for keep battles yet some caster still think they need to single target nuke RG archers as fast as possible.

probably not before its released.

already have met 3 people that play DAOC irl

probably not as they don't seem to work as well as DAOC from what i've read

3.Now that ToA is here what do you think of it's impact?

Expansions released in the wrong order, should have been SI/Frontiers/Catacombs/ToA. Infact screw that, just wipe ToA and forget it ever happened. All we got was loot whoring and flick book graphics engine.


4.What do you think is the best thing gained from ToA?

Lightsabers, oh no wait... that was KoTOR. Can't think of anything positice that the game gained from ToA.



5.What do you think is the worse thing gained from ToA?

Overpowered ML's for some classes that didn't need anymore love and the madness of people arguing over artifacts/drops/loot. When you leave the game it seems even more ludicrous


6.If you could pick one class from each realm that you feel needs to be more groupable and boosted a bit what would you choose?

For RvR ; Alb - Reaver/Wizard Hib - Prolly Valewalker I guess Mid - Thane? The rest seem pretty viable.

7.How many lv50's do you have and how much do you enjoy each and why?

Six and I don't play anymore for the one reason that I don't enjoy playing any of them since ToA.


8.Which enemy class would you like to play in rvr if you had a choice from them all?

Shaman

Depends on how I feel when it arrives but doubtful.


10.How do you feel about new frontiers ideas so far?

I like some of it, not sure about the whole beach head thing though. Seems to favour realms with lots of active AE caster which sadly Albion doesn't have in abundance. Time will tell though.


11.Roughly how much longer will you play daoc?

Probably never again without a radical overhaul.


12.If you could meet three people in the game who would you choose?

Jeez thats a tough one. Would have to go with long time friends who came to DAoC with me from Jumpgate so Dargo, Docwolfe and Blieran I guess. There are about 30 others I would love to meet though including Fattshanes McSlut, Pudz0r, Uncle Delket, Pinvan, Ardas, Cabbage, Blaien (Okies), Lakarell, Fishi, Roalith and way to many others to list but none the less important.


13.If you quit daoc soon will you play another mmorpg?if so which?

Not sure I will play another MMORPG again long term, I have played them for 5 years non-stop and can't face any more grind. GuildWars might get me hooked because it has no subscription so I can come and go as I please.

I would have rolled a Mid and enjoyed the golden years
