Strange Desktop Image thing in XP

Hello

I trying to make every machine in my network, look the same i.e same colour scheme desktop image etc.

no problems, but for some reason some of the XP machines (Home & Pro) forget the Desktop image and revert to no image at all. I created a .BMP file 800 by 600.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening, its a real pain.

At a long shot, have you got a single copy of the BMP file on the network and all the other PCs reference it ?

No, I have saved it as a seperate file for each machine. and on some of the machines I've tried to save it as a Theme, but this still does not fix the problem.
