Something I read recently after having been burned myself just last month . It could be that he just misread the situation - most thoughtfull blokes would not just jump on a girl un-invited (and same bed does not neccesarily = an invite).

As for the folks telling you you would be great b/f material they are lying, if there was any truth in the matter they would be with you.
