Star trek would win the enterprise gets nailed occasionally but the crew usually have some super cool plan to take the enemy down with them and they dont even have jedi powers oh so troi can do a bit of empathy/telepathy big woop thats not really a superpower tbh, the jedi have their force but they still get pwnd frequently, look how long captains Kirk, picard, Sisco, Janeway etc all lasted they didnt get the snot kicked out of them by Darth Vader and the pope... sorry emperor did they?

hell i'd love to see Luke and Han solo as much as i love em up against the borg and tbh the milennium falcan rocks but it is a bit of a heap tbh.

and then theres the droids, c3po (clearly gay, nothing wrong with that but if you got a droid youd want one that comes with weaponry not one that comes at the sight of a storm trooper in tight trousers) and r2d2 bless him too i love them both i really do love star wars i mean i grew up with it (although it has been about longer than me, im not 30!) but the droids are a bit crap then compare them with Data and all the stuff he can do not to mention he has thumbs which r2d2 does not have and he doesnt get OCD over whether the dustings been done like c3p0.

oh yeah and weapons, right ok blasters and light sabres (again cool as hell i want a light sabre i really do!) but um well a bit close range and blasters arnt exactly reliable (just look at the number of highly trained stormtroopers firing at han solo from about 8 foot away and they ALL MISS HIM!!!) and lasters are a bit bulky too, whereas phasers are... well they look a bit like an electric shaver but theyre neat, compact and they actually could hit a barn door.

well i could go on but im sure that by now noone is actually reading this, needless to say i do feel rather passionate about the whole issue.

Single or multiple combat, any sith lord / jedi master would kick the shit out of any of the Enterprise crew.

And everyone goes on about "Q". Well, even the Q are subject to the Force, which means any force master would be able to kick their ass.

Theres more Wars than Trek fans i imagine so thats how the poll plays out. I do think i can say rather unbiased though that there isnt really much in wars that could do much vs the tech + ingenuity from Trek. I could be very wrong though and what i wrote sounds soooo geek :<

In a straight shootup, the enterprise would win easily. They would inevitably give diplomacy a shot first however, at which point the force would win hands down. Some storm-troopers are going to get phasered to death sure, but that's about it. Once Darth had shuttled over to the enterprise to discuss which woman he's going to have an politically incorrect relationship with it would sadly be all over.

something i have noticed is that most trek fans also are wars fans but its not always true in the opposite piont of view, also trekkies get more ummm nerdy when it comes to stuff like this so we tend to have more back up arguments rather than the wars fan who just goes off what they have seen on the films every christmas since the 1980s.

if it was a battle of the fans the trekkies would win too.

the whole argument is based on trek vs the empire and seeing as they were beaten by the good guys then i cant forsee a situation where the good guys from wars would engage in battle with the trek people, they'd all just join forces and learn from eachother and be sat about playing chess talking about philosophy and stuff. so tbh if trek met wars its probably be pretty dull lol.
