Mr Russell didnt pay a penny on his- London, meal and Spearmint Rhinos -he just bankrupted his friends to get as many 'dances' in as possible. I think what you are doing sounds great.
Wherever you go -its the people that make it -not the 'unique -ness' or the cost.
I chose to go out in my local city for my hen, with 20 friends, to pubs and bars we knew, dressed as St Trinians. At the time people tried to persuade me to do something more 'exciting' -but it was a great night due to the company.

Going where? The Garage? Yep, Sauchie has some nice pubs (I like Sleazys) but it IS zombie. With that I mean full of overly drunk, vomiting & skanky-dressed ppl. I live just above it. Going out there sober after nightfall is like going to another planet.

A long time ago I used to do night shifts. Going home after nights in a weekend was the weirdest experience ever, though I did walk in on my lady neighbor having sex in the open door of our floor, on the ground, with some drunk dude, loudly. This was before smart phones or I'd have recorded it and used the vid to blackmail her for blowjobs, like all the young kids do these days. I did get my jollies from asking her how her carpet burn was for months after that though.

Obviously I have never had to organise a stag do, however in the town I lived in in NL, I witnessed a few which all had a similar theme..... The stag party (or Hen) would entertain the rest of the customers for cash.... This could be singing, selling condoms etc to raise money to support the evenings events... Not very British but quite amusing for the onlookers.

Big G, I didnt imply that glasgow nightlife is dire; its the best I've had, ranking over Stockholm, KPH and Oslo. Sauchiehall is just filled with rank people and bad clubs imo. Dunno about the casinos though! Good luck on your stag do.
