Gents,
Some of you have organised a stag do.
What is the general etiquette around payment? I've decided that the stag do be split into two events; the four closest mates (including groom) are going for a luxury golf day and then a casino night for general attendance the following day.
The golf is quite expensive, around £150 a head for 18 holes. Is it expected that we pay for the groom? From what I can see on the web, generally it's expected that the groom is expected to contribute more to the stag do particularly for those that maybe can't afford it (I'm thinking students, or those on a lower income). However that seems a little off, we're all earning and I think we should all pay the same (including the groom) - I don't see why we'd arrange his stag do and then say "right, give us the cash".
