Hmmm. I ran Ad-Aware. It found 150 instances of spyware on my PC, including 6 possible browser hi-jack attempts. Nice.

The Kazaa trick works tho, just loaded it up in a pop-up free state. So I'm celebrating by downloading Tenacious D - Fuck Her Gently

Hmmm. I just tried to change my display properties (I wanted a different theme) and six - that's right SIX - pop-up windows appeared. Three of them were fighting for the right to become my homepage. Ad-aware found two new components, both belonging to doubleclick.

Spyware is teh sux. Still, Kazaa is pop-up free now.
