Speakers/Amp for PC/Consoles

I want my PS2/XBox/GC to be able to play sounds in my PC room. My PC only has USB headphones. My monitor is obviously silent.

What should I buy ?

if your ok with old tech and 5.1 then a yamaha dsp A5 or sony db 925. these were considered preety damn good a few years back and can be had for £50 off ebay some times even less. ive just flogged of my denon 3803 and got an A5 for free of a mate as a stop gap. im happy with it with ps3 x360 and gaming pc hooked up. thou downgrading from a 7.2 setup to a a 5.1 leaves me 2 speakers gathring dust for now
