The dwarf casts a spell with a yellow beam shining through his head and then a ice white border around him and you continue to nuke him, you waste 50 power... Isn't particulary hard to see phaseshift. If u want a proper whine, comment on the fotm ice theurg in croc mode hid behind a few trees thats quite nice at this time of year.

Think I saw a yellow effect once, never a white border, I don't nuke enemies from point blank range you know... maybe I'll see an alb use it so I know what I'm looking for.

oh and the point is it doesn't say anything in the log of whether an enemy is phaseshifted or not, just gives resists.

Any caster in croc and hidden behind something is gonna cause a lot of trouble, nothing special about ice theurg's...

in fact ice theurg in croc mode hiding behind a tree is the caster which should cause the least amonth of trouble..

either you see the pets comning out from the tree... or you get nooked for 200-300 (MAX)

i think all other casters would be more devastating in croc mode behind a tree...

The point was that by the time a theurg in croc mode has been spotted behind a tree (which is obviously hard) all your support classes are struggling to deal with the pets, no other caster can disable the support classes of a group like that. Take for example the fire wizard in croc mode behind a tree, it can spam nukes on you for a while until its discovered then the nuking stops, whereas with the theurgist the pets remain for a timer, not sure on the timers but I think that explains it more clearly.

it does, since it helps keeping theurg out of "first target" spot, which is usually the first death in the group. So tanks hop on sorc or cleric, and theurg can pin down support, and also evade first mezz if he unsticks properly.

and yes you CAN lock down the support if you get the chance to pet.

but if some1 DONT identify me as the petspammer within 2-4 sec (1-2 pets)even if i was a grogan then they really need glass's..

i use my range to surview. Croc form wouldnt change a thing for a pet theurg vs average+ players..

if i want to make targeting harder i just step into my hugh ice friends (but then again shouldnt be needed if im at the correct 2200 range..

you can see a normal theurg @ 2k range, you can not see a croc--theurg 2@ 2k range

Yup, true.. But the theurg isn't really considered a target compared to the sorc untill he starts to spam pets anyway, so the croc form isn't _very_ effective for the petspamming theurg since he's pretty easy to find when petspamming.. It's not wasted ofcourse not.. but it's not as effective on the theurg as on a pure damagedealer.. atleast not as effective as on the damagedealers that get dd's without trails that point to the caster..

So petspammers consider 2k range when spamming more important than not being seen when not spamming..

ya the wind spec got some good sides.... but my Toa template is focused on power,range,speed and not spell dam ... and i cba to remake it ... would be a projekt of several months with my play time atm.. so for me cold spec is better..

my nukes are at 300-450 which is ok for me as alb. but i like to pet... more fun and got 25% dur on em ..

I was referring to pet spamming in croc mode if you would like to read my earlier post instead of just acting like a smartass, this post carries on from the earlier one I made, which is an easy assumption if you actually read it. And fyi I was the person who mentioned croc form so I know what this discussion is about mmkay?
