/.../ Just found an old screeny and some strange feelings popped up
Showed us Albs (zerging of course) as we tried to take hurbury castle. We were at least 60 albs, with only one grp of Mids defending, plus sinister. They owned us so bad, but it was a lasting experience. I never ever saw such a raw killspam in my whole daoc career ever again. AE DoT (i believe it was dosferra), mjollnier and a runemasters spears tore us apart like flies... i was 15 at that time, and many of the albion "army" too. I think most mids were in their forties at that time... still someone remembering that day? /.../

I sure do. Was the first "real" RVR action that we got after we had outleveled both you albs and the hibs by far. Everyone in the team were eventually a part of Warders of the 7th Sigil. Those were the good days.

Oh and, here's one for the real old school players.
Balnor had just popped and tried to kill me. Balnor! The most famous hibbie at that time! And I had somehow lucked out and managed to dodge an arrow or two to catch up with him and solo him!!?! I was kind of excited, kind of.
Anyways, the team must have been close to the midgard dream team of that time with Pyrotechnix, Enki, Breydel, Leyton, Dandillion Jenna and me. Loki and Rudor were two of the only high levels that we were missing to complete the team for that run.

During beta I played on Excal as a cleric.. Bodhran.. with a motley crew that also included Usp and Sortia (fire wizzy and armsman I believe), also annoyed the hell out of Brighty..

Much fun was had on the plains, farming Grove nymphs /yelling "get orf moi laaaaaand"...

Eh.. anyhow...

Givf certain hibs back.

Silly me deleted his daoc install and installed toa, all those screenies.. gone...... *crys*

Nice to see someone made an "oldschool" thread, some of those screenies take me back.

Mattshanes in the AoV cloak in Xeanors pic - my old old guild with Yussef, Malicki (sp), Breon, Shardon (sharma) etc. Also remember the first (think it was the first) keepraid alb did, was a failed one anyways. Loads more familiar names too, Ziera and Cauton, Merric aswell.

Remember when mids had the huge headstart, SF was the only lvl 50 alb.. takes you back a bit

Wahhhh hi there! Dunno what level you were back then, but you were quite purple. I DoTted you while sitting, wich was the only spell that ever hit you till you splitted me in two with a large axe iirc. But you blew me a kiss afterwards

Sorry i forgot many here. Blej is of course a name that rings a bell, as is soulfly (paladin i believe), Aetelstan, Myste... all the Templars... too bad i changed servers. Its uncommon that so many old schoolers are still playing. mhhh maybe i need to level Sher to 50. Was one of the very first sorcs ever created, on day 1. Goddam i loved that character.. saracen sorcs were very uncommon. Hm Bubbles still there? And what was the name of the prominent Avalonian Sorc of SotL?
