Some advice about a hib melee group?

Could I get some nice advice? Dont want to make a fotm mid melee group nor an alb melee group :p

2 x blademasters
2 x druids
1 x bard
1 x warden
2 x heroes

Thats better? :p

looks good, you need the warden for resists and pbt, plus ofc they can backup the tankin / healing as needed.

3BM's is far too fotm for me I would up the hero count and lower the BM count, a heros a lot harder to kill and will have better determination /ras at the same rr. Heck, maybe even throw in a champ for debuffs. (Im a strong believe that any group that has 3 of the same character has made a mistake and has limited its options as there are so many duplicated abilites...)

Yeah theres little point introducing a couple of mages, weak cloth targets getting interupted and wasting all your healing instas...

1 BM
1 NS
2 Druid

VW is great for a support tank, Hero for slamming mostly, Bm deals nice dmg, NS is good for going after healers/mages + they can poison other tanks with uninteruptable snares etc.

2 druids for plenty of heals and buffs
warden with weap spec for back up tanking
bard for speed + end + mess

would be nice if these classes happened to all want to group

but its nice to have a ns for the poisons. And hitting for 1000+ on a mage is nice (with PA ofc)

but i guess it wouldnt make much difference to switch the NS for a BM or spearo

altho, cant stealth up to the healer/caster and kill him without anyone else notecing ;dd

Ive always thought this was a bit of a flaw ns stealthing from the off in group battles. No one notices you yes, that just means they notice your support classes more...

I prefer a hero vs caster. I just stroll up to the caster and slam him. If he does damage well (Moose+ip+2.5khps = im laughing), if he attempts CC then (purge + det4 hahahah).

so u mean if the ns dont stealth the support classes wont be attacked? ;dd

Wouldnt bother putting a champ in your group .. unless its me.

3 druids
1 bard
4 Savages.. oh,. i mean bladmasters (who can /assist)

Assit groups > pbt

Since when has Eldritch been a tank ?


Anyway.. Wardens are NOT tanks, they suck.

3 BM
1 VW
1 Shield/LW Hero
1 Bard
2 Druid (both Nat/Reg) then use a buffbot :)

Pwn :)

bard
hero - with 50 shield
3 BM's
warden/mana eld/another BM

doesn't matter to much imo

basiclly u don't need anyone with slam on offence, since the BM's should all have pf, the chance that none of em get's it of is rather small. to have a caster in this group can be hard, he'll die quick alot of times but might save the supports life.

I'm in a hib melee group with the following setup:

3 druids
1 bard
3 bm's
1 hero

GP every 10 mins, and every tank has self purge, should be fairly cc immune even without a warden. Only level 24 for now.. wanted to exp today but GOA ruined it :p

All druids having 41 or 35 in regrowth

Thats a lotta heals and pets

Not to mention 6xGP, 2xAM, 6single insta's, 6group insta's, 4 single insta roots, 4 aoe insta roots, 2 single mezz and 2 insta aoe mezz

And yes, I am joking, but would be kinda funny even if it did take 10 years to kill anything :)

Wonder how long it would take to kill that group if only half of the druids got MoC hehe

oh! oh! Just realised something else. can have speed+mana running constantly since no one uses styles ^^

aha! Extra damage vs sitting targets!
Oh and druid dot isn't as weak as ppl think :p

Wish it was AoE dot though. That would actually be quite cool.

Not wont be attack, but stand slightly less chance of being attacked. In the heat of the battle the enemy has to pick targets fast, you could either be the spitting image of a caster, or you could save them the bother of accidentaly picking a melee class and give them better odds on hitting the mages/support. By being stealthed you dont even waste peoples time thinking about if you are a target.

If your group suddenly met another group and all 4 ns stealthed your opponent would have a 75% chance of hitting a weakpoint in your party even if they just picked at random...

and 8th person should be bm, mana eld, bard or maybe a 3rd druid.

fyi i've hit ppl for 300 with my staff!11!1!!!ONEONEONE (necro, but still)

my eld is better as a tank than as a caster imo :p
