only thing i can think of was af charge might of been up, i was just kind of attacking u as i found u so sometimes things were down and soemtimes up, but in the end i was eating grass neway
and u did hit me for 800+ with one swing in 2nd fight

Hmmm AF charge wouldn't effect my damage that much, something dropped it to under 200 in one attack. I thought you used something clever lol, its rare i'd hit a stealther for that little.

I've had a good day today.
This was definately worth it and i hope we can do it again.

What we've done today is not normal soloing, but it wasn't duelling either.
It was like the solo zone we had with Gahn. Good solo fights without the fear of adds and few/no people watching. I got jumped a few times and got the jump on people myself, so not much beckon/bow before a fight.

What puzzles me is all the solo posts i've seen lately, where people whine about how hard soloing is.
After reading all those posts, I really expected to see more people there today.
Was it because it was saturday? Would it be more people there if we had it on another day?

All in all, i think this was a success! Big thanks to Ronso for arranging this and i hope we can do something like this again.
Just do it once or twice a month, so people wont get bored of it. As long as it's a rare thing, it will be something people will look forward too.

Buff shearing or not, i really enjoyed those two. Nice to have fights where it isn't just about /faceing and spamming styles. I had to think a bit, as to what potions, etc, i had to use there.

Remind me next time to kite you permanently, I tried and keep it minimized to kite not the entire time, but I suppose if you even whine about that and everyone should stand toe-to-toe with a 3K hp tin-can while you spam 1 style and press some Warlord-abilities... well perhaps I should just kite a few more times.


edit: Had some nice fights on my Nightshade aswell, with Zoia, Arumi, Trollum, a RR5 paladin with a hard name and some Valks. And fought Zoia on my Vale aswell, was close fight (very close!)

Guees the first couple days/weeks are hard to not play, but as time goes on it gets easier, except for when ya might get a bad day.

Well I tried to keep it nice and not go spouting names of, but if your going to be an ass about it, fair enough thats how we'll have it.

Firstly, of all the people I fought tonight you were the only one in any position to go toe to toe with a tank.

You have almost as much absorb as me
You hit almost as hard
You parry as much as me , if not more then me

And ontop of that you get desease, heal procs, desease procs and self haste, if theres anyone out there qualified to go toe to toe, then its you without the kiting, what more do you want, Chambers and pbaoe?

As for parry my effective parry is barely 40% before modifiers, a far cry from 80% ( which is impossible seeing at it caps at 50), and its probably not even that high since I have to spec crossbow just to deal with strafing kiting lamers like you, which makes killing such scum all the more fun, I actually thought you were ok after the first fight too lol, then you had to go spoil it and prove what I suspected about VW's all along after this patch.

Aah, so you're the vamp Dairuinn?
Dunno what spec you have, but you play well. I think if you had the "right" spec, you'd kick my zerker's ass pretty fast.
Seems to be very up and down with vamps. Some just destroy me in seconds, some aren't a problem at all.
Then you have vamps like you. Fights against them can last quite a long time and it often comes down to who gets lucky with the parries, etc. Those are the vamp fights i like though, those that can go either way.

Dair is a fire vamp (his horse should give that away) with a few ravens as friends (38SM 32VE).
i dont tend to claw unless its a last ditch attempt, suppose if i did power up and spam claw i would win a lot more but it isnt really fun that way.
it will be up and down with vamps, main differance being power (vamp default is 14% which can cast 2 spells)
Full power allows: 50% fumble, 31% parry, 32% evade, claw, 180HoT, end drain ect
No Power allows: im a squishy vamp in leather armour with unspecable shield <grin>

solo visual mode is becoming battle of the fotms.

you got VW's, Valks, armsman with their rr5 (must be fucking hard to loose a melee contest on that class tbh), mercs with DT, champs with rr5, precharged vamps etc....

abilities are taking over any concept of who is best and who plays their class well. its kind of becoming pointless imo.

but as they squeeze more retarded timers in there (and nerf OP FZ because archers are too OP with it and ofc its so hidiously OP in FG rvr) you just get less people on skill classes (sneaks) and moving to random OP toon no# 54516

And Censi, stealthers are in no way anymore of a skilled class to play then a visual class (except for spellcasters which are all easymodes !).

Specially when your comparing visuals vs visuals like the majority of tonights fights were.

As for rr5's, I think I used mine twice tonight at most and IP once, so stop whining and come join in, you'd of been highest RR there lol.

As i mentioned, he is a fire vamp therefore will be using the fire attack, was previously high VE like yourself but the sound the claw made annoyed me so didnt want to use it.
At the end of the day i enjoy this spec as i can have fun RvR or PvE, each to thier own really.
<grins> and just to really confuse you, my reason for not using SoM is that he cant ride his horse in shade form.

The clap was a compliment, you took me very close despite your Realm Rank. I was being nice, 1 more hit and i'd of had to IP, I even commented to Tuz about it at the time.

On the numbers thing - Saturday afternoon and evening is usually a quiet day in game. Sorry I could not get on - I spent a little while around DC before logging for the evening.

I get disease, not sure how the disease-procs help there much. Healprocs? Ehhh nope dont get healprocs. Dont use the selfhaste, as when 30 seconds are over, Im left with no haste at all. Using druid-haste, similar way as you use cleric-specAF.

I said 80 effective parry, which I mean 80 'parry spec' with. This includes stuff like MoParry and DEX-modifiers. Which equals about 40% right ?

Also people must be aware that Wardens , Valewalkers , Valkeryies , Thanes , Armsmen etc etc all can be over powered in the way they are played .

People who see stun immunity grapple as lame , you shouldnt , if its available to the class people should expect it to be used .

Im a brehon vw and if I came up against Kagato , no offence capital K but I would kite you into next week if the first few seconds of the fight indicated you were simply going to hand me my ass. If I can win by using my class abilties then why shouldnt I ? A frontal slow , pop off and hit a life tap , go back in and engage . Sounds lame but otherwise what ? You and your realm rank can easily wtf own me , and wheres the fun in that for you ? Not many people can go 'toe to toe' with Kagato or Hawkslayer etc etc and until they build up some realm rank ( lets be honest making solo rps on a visable class is slow crew ) then they should be expected to use whatever they can to win .

Yeh fighting pole arms can seem preety pointless most of the time. I can understand where your comming from ronso, and i wouldn't expect a VW to stand toe-toe anyways with a heavy tank. Don't they wear cloth armour lol?

Yeah they do I stood t2t with everyone yesterday, my shields dropped when I encounterd the first armsman half way through the fight lol. I dont mind doing it but I dont want anyone to be shocked when duelboi ronso turns around and tries to stick a life tap in there . My class is weird and just scythe is shit , need to use my full potential or im just meat . Im not just a one trick pony like a lot of other classes , unforunatly I have to manuvere a bit in some cases or just have my ass handed to me .
