I don't have phobias per say, nothing like paralysing etc, as i've done all the things that scare me and gotten them down to a "tolerable" level.

If i remember something, i'll tell.

Guess bees are one, but that's only a deep hatred, much like with spiders.

Though with bees i don't squish them with big things 'cause they might sting

They don't have any of my phobias - fear of canals, reservoirs and man-made watercourses, and bizarrely, if not without reason, fear of catheters. The thought of me, or anyone else being catheterised makes me go really panicky.

I'm a lot better with canals now than I used to be - I used to not be able to walk over a canal on a road bridge, let alone a foot bridge, but now I can happily walk along a canal as long as I'm a good couple of feet from the edge, and I can go within 10 feet of a lock - that's a big improvement for me

Ichthyophobia- Fear of fish.

I'm serious, I see fish and it freaks me out. I used to have nightmares about the class goldish eating me in primary school.

I worked in a petshop a while back making a website and generally helping out. They had several Piranha's in the aquarium there, when the lights go out they look truely evil - I can honestly say they're the most haunting and satanic thing I've ever seen in my life, thier 'faces' ooze pure hate, horrible.

Turning the lights off in the aquarium at night was something I really struggled with for a while(the switches were up high and at the back of the room), although before long I learned to cope with it and walking out of there in the dark kinda helped me cope with the phobia.

Nowadays because of my experiences at the petshop I'm not so bad - I dont 'freak out' anymore, although I always get a shiver down my spine when I see 'nasty' fish on TV

Nice to know I'm not the only one!

We moved house recently, and the new house is half a mile from a water treatment plant - I had to go and have a drive around it to make sure it wasn't going to freak me out too much before putting an offer in on the house.

Even thinking about it is making my palms sweat.

Seriously, i used ot get really nasty nightmares about the stuff, expecially the texture and the horrible stringyness. It sets my teeth on edge.
