Not the same but there's a World of Warcraft film coming out at some point; being directed by Duncan Jones (David Bowies son) who directed iirc Moon and Source Code.

So there's hope for the future after thats out of the way anyway

I've been playing a lot of HotS and it's starting to look pretty good now. Earlier in the beta a bunch of the units seemed to be designed really poorly but all the worst parts have been fixed or removed by now. I'm still a bit unsure about the role of the oracle and I think the balance is still a way off (swarm hosts seem imba in zvp to me and hellbat drops are currently a complete joke) but I'm not so worried about that because they will obviously keep tweaking it after release. I think overall it's going to be a nice improvement on WoL because they've addressed some of the design issues that made some matchups in WoL uninteresting. For example protoss now has a way of dealing with broodlord infestor that doesn't rely on 1 unit casting 1 spell. Protoss can actually move out of their base without it being an all in now too because of recall. Also infestors overall are less dominant and zerg has been given a few new options so they don't have to rely on them so much. It also looks like blizzard is putting a lot of effort into making mech viable in TvP which will be cool imo.

The battlenet changes are good too. I can't believe it's taken them this long to implement a clans system and it's still a worthless buggy piece of shit at the moment but at least it actually exists now. They've said they are going to change the ladder map pool more regularly too which is awesome. I've played such a ridiculous number of games on maps like Daybreak and Ohana that it's not fun any more.
