In other news I went back with ID and got my fucking becks blue, it was only 3 mins walk from my front door and ill be fucked if I am walking the extra 35 secs to the Tesco nearby

Edinburgh is amazing, there is one street where you can stand and see two Tescos within three mins walking distance from each other...like WHY tescos....are you REALLY getting that much more in sales by having a stores a few hundred feet from each other?

my uncle, who is a regional manager for co-op, claims that if you see any disowned large building or pub it'll be owned by tesco, who are just waiting for their moment.

he is quite paranoid about tesco though.

A quick Google shows that in some places you need a Licence to sell Reduced Alcohol Beer. Maybe the Co Op are just ultra cautious?
