As you've all probably seen, FHOT will become general, or rather we shall absorb general after we move.

How should we handle this?

With civilized ta-tas and how dos?
Angry mob with pitchforks and torches?
Unified league of wannab superheroes?
Complete and utter messing up of walls, carpets, drapes and welcome mats with pokeybumwanks, tits&arse and some showerpoo?

That ignore all plan is quite ingenious.

Think the main reason for a merge is that they want to revamp the forums, jump ze shark and so forth.

It depends on what we're 'talking' about, I get the feeling that a fair amount of those in off-topic haven't ventured out of their bedrooms for a long time, maybe perhaps to get some dinner that their mum cooked. I suspect those ones won't have much to talk about.

Don't really see any difference between now and a merge in terms of actual posting, since the posters are the same on both boards and so is most of the content. I guess the only real change will be fewer clicks to get to the threads.

I don't think it's really about activity, as both are fairly active as it is. I think it's more about the fact it's two forums for essentially the same thing. Both have a lot of posts from the same people, and there's a fair amount of duplicate posting at times. As they're essentially the same thing anyway, may as-well make that official in my view.
