The raid started at 12 UK time on a weekend and there was about 1600 online when it STARTED so QQ more mids you lame naabs, dont even try to come up with an early excuse for ur next raid at 7am.

Its true, in fact it probably started a little earlier than that with groups moving out from atk. Its not albs fault the 126 SB's at amg didnt see us go through and move towards uppland is it.

This is the basis of every successful relic raid--if you have defenders in the relic keep, you are more or less screwed in the current state of the game.

So it was Albion that stole my alarmclocks last weekened!!!! ARGH!!!

Nevermind It was a nice and clean raid for sure, doesn't matter if Albion would have raided us at 22:00cet with the same tactic.. we wouldn't have noticed, since noone checks mjollnir if there isn't a guard spam. The same tactic on Excalibur won't work since albs are passing that keep all the time.

TBH, this raid is the ultimate wusses option. Even now, with Artifacts, MLs, and various other things, you have to resort to going about a relic raid to make sure nobody knew you were there...
When this 7am Relic Raid happened, SI had only been out for a couple of months...people may well have still been using Lair chain drops for their characters...

The tactics I tested this week on the empty relics worked but were not very effective. The new tactic came from hrae/katt, not from me. Also the idea to organise one didn't come from me but from Laaken. Except from sending 7pm to the GMs and explaining the tactic in battlegroup I had a very small roll in this raid.

the only one totally insane are you, because mids did a 6 am raid in the first place to take str relics back and albs tried to take it back primetime almost every day with the server crashing almost every day because of it

Yes. Usually I agree with Nol (COZ he's my heroo!!!!!111!), but in this case I can't. First up, the bad thing about alarmclock raids is that they're deliberately designed to ensure you have an overwhealming numerical advantage - 200 Mids (it was 200, not 300 as has been widely claimed in this thread) vs a total of 27 level 50 albs in the case of the last Mid alarmclock raid.
Secondly, 1600 is a decent enough server population. It is, after all, pretty much what Prydwen has at primetime!
But late raids aren't as good as primetime ones, imho.

Its strange that you dont see the problem about a raid like this, Its not prime time but its not a allarm clock. But that dos not mather, the prob is that no mather hove many albs/hibs/mids was online no guards was killed so mids could not know there was a relic raid. Its smart by Aussie, but it should not be posible imo.

I think if you've read many of my posts you know I'm very anti-elitist, and I would love to have relic raids where all can take part. But unfortunately, there's simply too many people around in all realms who think it's ok to spy for that to happen.

When we zerg it with 5OO+ every mid/hib says to use tactics...do it with 4-5 fg...and they say the same...so conclusion for me...who cares tbh

The game is 24/24....but 00.00 - 02.00 on a saturday is very much primetime tbh...certainly on excal.

Of course relics will change hands again...but thats what the game is about...not to have a relic for 2 years non-stop....so have fun getting it back...go for some pow relics mids...hibs go for some str ones etc...

Game would be more fun when relics change hands every x weeks tbh...not every 6 months.

Last time alb successfully relic raided midgard it was with 500 people and at primetime. Albion then got flamed by midgard for a month or so for bringing to much people. Some silly midgard twat decided to take them back with an alarmclok raid.
Albion then brought big zergs to odin's for about a week, albion was also flamed for this due to bringing to much people.
Recently albion failed a relic raid on hibernia, due to spies and beeing spotted. Albion was then taunted for bringing to much people and beeing spotted.

Now albioin took back the relics of peaktime with some 50 people(?) now albion is getting flamed for not brining enough people and not make sure they were spotted.

Personally I'd prefer big zerg wars during relic raids but.
A. Midgard just takes em back with alarmclocks anyway.
B. Server crashes.
C. I hate shrooms.

Mythic just should remove relics all together they're doing nothing for the game anyways.

every realm has unique abilities that are usually considered lame when used in RRs:
- 3 stealth classes (2 with climb wall)
- GTAOE in a popular specline
- outnumbering the enemy
- Shrooms
- Paladins holding aggro
- SoS to break through blockades
- etc

You can argue about the time (was definitely not what I consider an alarm clock raid - maybe a bit off-primetime though) but you cannot argue about the tactics: every realm will and should always use what works best for them. And I prefer such a relic raid over a 400 people raid that crashes the server any day.

As for mids threatening to take power relics: go ahead I am sure you can take them (as proven 1 week ago) but expect 150+ hibs with 30+ animists at Grallahorn within a couple of days and I guarantee you the power relic is not so easy to defend than the strength one.

Nothing wrong in making a Alarm clock raid, but i would expect a full blow midgard revenge anyday soon.

And tbh the cg setup was filled with panic, first they weree saying go odins block amg asap, well if im not mistaken if the atk was used the relic would have past amg at the time ppl started to gather svasud.
And after afew minutes they started to say go HW to take it back fast, well good luck prolyl enuff albies in fort sauvage to defend it against a unplanned relic take.
