We're talking about Crocs here... they are one of the few beings on this planet which have hardly developed any further at all for many million years. They are more machine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finite_state_machine) than animal. That was what that poor man was trying to demonstrate and imho he did it very well. 99% of the time they react to a given tactile input with the same response. I.e. you touch their nose, they open their mouth. It's not something they learn. It's the way their neural system is hardwired. However as we all know those vending machines can be a bitch! Sometimes they eat your money... sometimes they eat your arm.Ezteq said:oh fuck lol man that was satisfying!!
If your going to have animals in captivity use them to educate and show people that they are to be respected and looked after, not as "entertainment" when the animal clearly does not enjoy it (some species do enjoy being given tasks, i.e parrot shows in Longleat, sealions love to play and show off and as long as they are treated well i've nothing against that) like the kickboxing chimps in Thailand (sounds funny but its really horrific).
People should learn that animals are not there for them. We're here together and none is the supreme species.
You dont know what he said.Ezteq said:rofl i think he was actually trying to impress the toursits and earn a few more dollahs rather than explain how crocodiles are one of the most impressive species on the face of the planet, that they are so well evolved they havent had to change and that "ooh look at how brave and macho i am *tap tap tap* waddafuckitsgotmyarmlongtime!!!!"
