Freeview isn't available in our area, so is it possible to buy a sky box and dish to recieve the normal channels that way? We only really wanted freeview for ITV2 and better quality TV signals, at the moment the quality with analoge is terrible :D

(dont really want to pay a sky subscription as we wont watch most of the crap)

similar deal to freeview (although slightly more of an initial payment but it includes installation). you get all the freeview chans and some extras all from sky via a dish.
i also heard somewhere that e4 will be going freeview soon for when big brother starts.

I haven't subscribed to any Sky packages for a couple of years now, but we still get the 5 terrestrial channels + BBC3-4 and ITV2-3.

It's probably cheaper to subscribe to the basic package for a year (w/ free installation/box) instead of getting it installed seperately?
